I think we all know the answers to the aboveSo now the "experts" are claiming the US will not achieve herd immunity.
The reasoning is that the virus is mutating too quickly and not enough people are getting vaccinated. But herd immunity is not developing an immunity to ALL viruses, just the one that is causing the current pandemic. The new thinking seems to be laying the groundwork for permanent government restrictions on behavior. As of today, the virus has not mutated enough to render the vaccines or natural immunities for recovered patients ineffective. But if this is the fear, then why the push to get everyone vaccinated?
Just like every other devisive subject over the last year plus. Rational is in short supply in today's world.People on both sides of this argument are heading to the extremes and both need to settle down and be rational.
Two truths, both of which can be applied as well in regards to the virus itself. The only salient argument so far, regarding the vaccines, is that they have not been tested for long term effects.
For the vaccines to be some kind of globalist plot to reduce the populations dozens of manufacturing companies and thousands of their employees would have to know about it, and all of them would have to remain silent while they watch their friends and family members get vaccinated.
“Three researchers from China’s Wuhan Institute of Virology became sick enough in November 2019 that they sought hospital care, according to a previously undisclosed U.S. intelligence report that could add weight to growing calls for a fuller probe of whether the Covid-19 virus may have escaped from the laboratory.”
