As of Tuesday, the Cowboys were a touchdown favorite, might have moved now that Dak's actually practiced. I'm buying it, because our defense is good enough that even with D'Andre Swift and Amon-Ra St. Brown expected back this shouldn't turn into a slugfest. Let's call it 27-17 Dallas wins.

Cowboys have starting QB returning while playing against the worst defense in the league at home. If the offense doesnt look good on Sunday, it doesnt bode well going forward.

Against a HC who is 0-11 on the road.

Ha! How many times have we seen this scenario pop up then see the team promptly shit the bed?

I'll take Detroit, Dak starts but looks mediocre and the defense regresses in a game where the team looks flat from the get-go

That's what I'm warning of. Also - they have the #4 offense in the league!

It was the #1 offense until they shit the bed last game and laid a big fat goose egg vs the Patriots.

I can’t even remember the last time I saw an NFL team get completely shut out and held to zero points.

I honestly have fairly low expectations for the offense this week, despite Detroit's mediocre to bad defense. Prescott did not look good in week one and didn't play any in preseason, and he's been shut down for 5 weeks since. I think it's highly doubtful that he looks "sharp" this week, and maybe not even next week. At least he should get two full games plus an extra week of practice during the bye week and the hope should be that he is in better form for Green Bay.

The one thing that does help is Detroit is last in the league in rush yds per game allowed and next to last in rush yds per carry allowed. Our run game should do well.

Panthers trade Christian McCaffrey to the 49ers. They get a second, third and fourth next year, along with a fifth in 2024.
Seems like a lot to give up for a talented, but very brittle RB.

On the other hand one article I read said the Whiners had accumulated SIX extra 3rd rd picks because of the league's fucktarded woke minority hiring rules, where a team is rewarded not for HIRING said guy, but the team that HAD the guy gets rewarded.

And for all the hype about how good he is, he's only had two decent seasons in the NFL (2019 and 2019) and has played in a total of 16 games the last 3 seasons.

Their QB completes less than 60% of his passes. That would not seem to bode well for this game against one of the best defenses in the league.

Defensively, they can't stop the run or rush the passer.

I'm not saying there's no way we lose, but it would be very surprising if we did. I might be more inclined to worry about a loss had we some how pulled out the win last week in Philly.

It happens every season dude. There were 8 shutouts last yr alone.

It's the 2nd shutout this year (Colts got blanked by Jacksonville)
