If Trump gets to appoint another justice this term, let it not be a conservative woman, unless it is a die hard like Jeanine Pirro. Barrett is turning out to be a Sandra Day O'Connor, who also started out as a conservative them began a shift to the left until she retired.
The article indicates the liberals justices, especially Sotomayor began courting Barrett, probably recognizing she was weak in her convictions. I expect Barrett will go full liberal before long. That leaves only Roberts to hold the line and that is not a good place for conservatives to be. Roberts is also weak and at times irrational.
What we need is for Sotomayor to resign so Trump can appoint a very reliable conservative like Alito as a replacement. That would neuter Barrett.
