I can almost live with it coming from politicians since you apparently have to be a POS to be one but the complicity of major media sources who fail to call out the obvious or ignore hugely important issues time and time again is what really gets to me. I guess the people who get to spout this nonsense and make tons of $$ doing so are either true believers who hate this country or willing to do anything for the almighty buck

This has been proven false several times already. Witness testimony showed that Trump did authorize up to 10k National Guard troops to enter DC to maintain peace. According to first hand accounts, a request for National Guard troops was sent to the House Sgt at Arms several times and the response was delayed at least 71 minutes. The House Sgt. at Arms reports to the Speaker, not the president. Trump had no authority to send the National Guard to the Capitol Hill that day.
