First question: If we are living a simulation then whose simulation is it? and then what is the purpose of their simulation? Imagine how advanced a society would have to be to develop a simulation where the subjects of the simulation actually experience consciousness? I would like to meet my makers.

But the real question is, does it matter? Whether a simulation of reality, we are what we are and we are helpless to change it. Might as well just go along with it until whoever pulls the plug.
