Hegseth Orders Navy to Strip Name of Gay Rights Icon Harvey Milk from Ship​

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth has ordered the Navy to take the rare step of renaming a ship, one that bears the name of a gay rights icon, documents and sources show.

Military.com reviewed a memorandum from the Office of the Secretary of the Navy -- the official who holds the power to name Navy ships -- that showed the sea service had come up with rollout plans for the renaming of the oiler ship USNS Harvey Milk.

A new name for the Harvey Milk was not given but, according to the memo, Hegseth and Phelan are planning to announce the new name aboard the USS Constitution, the oldest commissioned Navy ship.

I am not shocked that it isn't, but this auto-pen story should be much bigger than it is. How can any president justify using auto-pen to sign official documents of any kind. It should not be allowed. I think the Trump admin is right for investigating the use of auto-pen and I think congress should pass a law outlawing its use except for answering fan mail. It is absurd a robot signed official documents while we had a president of questionable mental acuity.

There's definitely a little bit of a war brewing between Musk and Trump. Musk said a few weeks ago that he was NOT going to bankroll Republicans in masse as he had suggested before. There's been several of these blurbs on X today but this one could end up being interesting.

Leftists and MSM would have already used it if there was even any hint of illegal or even morally questionable behavior. And it would have ended Trump's political career before it even started. Even Rino's that hate Trump would have gladly helped make this happen.

And the argument that "Trump has prevented this from coming out" doesn't hold water considering who was President and what party was running the country for the previous 4 yrs.

Musk can't be that dumb to not know that.

I saw something that there was a blow up between Elon and some folks in Trumps cabinet. Wouldn't surprise me if that happened.

Either way, Elon is wrong on this one. Accusing Trump of being a pedophile, claiming Trump won because of him and calling for his impeachment and wanting Vance to take over. I didn't vote for Elon. Matter of fact, Elon didn't get onboard the Trump train until the Butler assassination attempt. He was an opportunist and unfortunately he showed his ass in this feud.

If anyone tells you weed is harmless, you should look at Elon. Yes, he's the richest man in the world. But he ruined his credibility in a fit of rage and paranoia that I suspect is due to his drug use. Reports are out this morning that Trump will call Elon to try to reconcile but I'm not buying it. Elon is toast. There's no coming back when you accuse the President and a guy that pimped you as being a pedophile.

Tesla stock is down over 14% today. He's killed his brand and I don't think he can recover from yesterday. He had a seat next to the POTUS and he completely fucked it up. This is the self destructive behavior of a drug user and abuser. He needs rehab.

Depending on what you read and want to believe, one report says Elon was getting fairly pushy with potential key hires within the cabinet and administration. The same report said the big blowup finally happened a week or two ago when Trump pulled the plug on the person Musk wanted for a role within the Space program (I think NASA but will try to find it)

That said, today I saw some headlines that Elon is backtracking some (late last night and early this morning) and is wanting the "feud" to end, but I haven't been on Twitter/X this morning yet.
