Jerry Jones: We could live without getting a pass rusher or running back. Don't know if we could sleep at night if we didn't get a corner.

Falcons too RT @AroundTheNFL: Cowboys, Saints likely candidates to trade up in 2015 NFL Draft
Cowboys, Saints candidates to trade up in '15 NFL Draft - NFL.com

Cowboys

Dallas turned its fortunes around last season by churning out a clock-chewing, ground-happy attack. With DeMarco Murray landing in Philadelphia, the Cowboys must find help in the backfield. We thought Dallas would move up to make a play on Todd Gurley or Melvin Gordon. After they failed to do so, the 'Boys are a strong candidate to swing a trade for the runner they adore in Round 2.

They couldn't be that dumb. Could they?

The running back they'll try to mimmick Murray with isn't on the roster yet. Can't be. They saw last season how important running the ball was to every other area on the team. Including Romo's back.

Wouldn't be surprised if we trade up for Coleman. A lot of us thought he looked kind of like Murray (but faster) but I forgot his head coach at Indiana is the same guy Murray had at OU.

@nfldraftscout: Couple things I'm hearing: Bucs likely to go OT, don't rule out another WR for the Raiders, 49ers looking at secondary players.

Please do so for Eric Kendricks, Grady Jackson, or Randy Gregory.

If it's Tevin Coleman I'll be disappointed.

Also... I'd hate to surrender our third rounder.

McKinney and Kendricks make sense since we considered them at 27.

If its Coleman, like rumored, we are being reactionary.

Only all of the years.

Cowboys rushing attempts per game:

2000 - 28.9
2001 - 31.6
2002 - 26.4
2003 - 32.2
2004 - 28.1
2005 - 32.6
2006 - 29.5
2007 - 26.2
2008 - 25.1
2009 - 27.25
2010 - 26.75
2011 - 25.5
2012 - 22.2
2013 - 21
2014 - 31.75
How silly of me to not be much more specific when most everyone understands in context I meant 20 carries, one guy, per game. The phrase "consistently featured" was key. As in "featured back." Not the entire RB stable.

Yes they can be. People don't wake up one morning and suddenly change their core philosophy. And in Jerruh's case, suddenly acquire one.

@DMN_George: Also, a name to watch in later rounds for Dallas Cowboys. Keep an eye on Texas A&M OG Jarvis Harrison (6-4, 330). He's caught Cowboys' eye.

I hear the #Giants are making a huge move to trade up with the #Titans for the No. 33 pick. Being the most aggressive.

The #Giants traded No. 40, No. 108 (4th) and No. 245 (7th) to the #Titans for No. 33.

God damn. that seems excessive.

Ugh. Who the hell do they think is worth that?
