Chivalry is not dead. I had to go some training up in New Jersey about 15 years ago. The sales person and the trainer where both women as well as my coworker who was also being trained. They would take us to lunch everyday and I would always open every door for them and they were in complete shock I was doing that. I was raised to always open the door for women. It is in my DNA and they were dumbfounded I was doing it. I guess men in some parts of the country were never raised to be gentlemen.
