Wow, that' s a new rule now? That don't make any sense, it was a textbook throw and beat the runner. That rule benefits the runner only lol... That rule just ruined the game!
Harper entered the day 0-for-11 at the plate through his first three games, & w/yesterday's historic performance, he erased any memory of his brief season-opening slump. It was the second three-homer game of his career & it led to a career-high six RBI. It was only a matter of time.
Suรกrez's latest gem helped the Phillies win their seventh consecutive game to improve to 15-8. It is a mark the Phils have reached only three times in their first 23 games since 1995. Phillies starters have a 0.52 ERA during the winning streak.
MLB power rankings: Red-hot Philadelphia Phillies won't need a turnaround this year
Story by Gabe Lacques, USA TODAY
โข 37m โข 3 min read So, what happens if the Philadelphia Phillies are only now heating up? The Atlanta Braves would rather not ponder that question, certainly. The Phillies, who knocked NL East champion Atlanta out of the playoffs the past two years did so only after suffering through grim and discouraging Aprils.

WOW! Phils have best record in baseball w/their best start through 35 games in 29 years! And Alec Bolm has hit safely in 18 consecutive games. No other player has done so giving him the record for 2024 season.
Jr. has only been in the league 6 years when he passed his father's record. Who is Fernando Tatis Sr.? The only MLB player to hit two grand slams in the same inning. Something Jr. may never accomplish!
