Thats kinda what I am hoping for, that he turns into a quality rotation guy.

As long as he is a "never takes a play off" kind of player, Dallas is in good shape to have him as depth. And there is a small chance that his freakish athleticism may kick in from time to time.

Cowboys add Brit footballer Efe Obada to roster
By Todd Archer

IRVING, Texas – After some high-profile additions in Greg Hardy and Rolando McClain recently, the Dallas Cowboys have made a low-profile addition by signing Efe Obada to a three-year contract.

Obada played in just five games for the London Warriors of the British American Football Association and will join the Cowboys as either a defensive end or tight end. The Warriors have won the last two Britbowls. Obada, 6-foot-6, 255 pounds, currently works as a warehouse storeman for Grace Foods on the outskirts of London.

With the Warriors, Obada’s defensive coordinator was Aden Durde, who was a coaching intern for the Cowboys last summer in training camp and met up with the club when it played the Jacksonville Jaguars in London last season.

He is the second Londoner on the roster. Defensive end Jack Crawford grew up there before coming to the United States for high school and played at Penn State.

@AlbertBreer: The Bucs invested 2 first-round picks and about $45 million since '12 to stock secondary with Barron, Revis and Goldson. All 3 are now gone.

Uh where did Barron go?

Erin Henderson, a linebacker whose promising career with the Vikings was cut short by substance abuse and a pair of DWI arrests, has agreed to terms with the Jets on a one-year contract, league sources told Dom Cosentino of the Newark Star-Ledger on Tuesday.

I would have considered him here at that contract IF we weren't going to go after Peterson. Upgrade over Terrence Williams.

Yea thats really not a bad contract at all considering his potential with a good QB.

If the Raiders grab Cooper in the draft they could have a solid WR group for Carr considering what it looked like last season.

Why isn't he?

Oh... because he doesn't have a star on his helmet. K.

No, its because he doesnt offer any big play ability, has some injury history and costs a shit ton more than T Williams does

Crabtree was drafted to be an impact player, he's been nowhere close to an impact player even when he's been healthy

Crabtree may not be the impact player many predicted he would be but he is an upgrade over Williams.

He is? How exactly? Just because he is a big name player?

The dude has been a JAG. Williams stats have been really good his first two years and he can make big plays downfield. Craptree isn't a threat at all downfield or breaking away short throws into big gains. He has had a very bad injury and costs a lot more than RW does.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers are giving defensive lineman Da’Quan Bowers another chance to reach the potential that once made him one of the top pass-rushing prospects in all of football, Roy Cummings of the Tampa Tribune reports.

Bowers, a 2011 second-round draft pick of the Bucs who went untouched through four months of free agency, re-signed with Tampa Bay on Monday, the team announced.

Bowers hinted at a possible reunion with the Bucs on social media a couple of weeks ago and quickly returned to that forum to announce his return.

Bowers wrote on his Twitter feed: “The ink is dry and the deal is done!! I’m coming back home!!! #itsabucslife #firethemcannons.’’

Details of the contract were not released, but the reunion has the potential to add depth to a defensive line that remains in transition, particularly at defensive end. The Bucs are expected to start Jacquies Smith at right end and George Johnson at left end, but which players will join the team’s defensive end rotation remains uncertain

I remember for most of the 2011 draft season, Bowers was considered a likely first overall selection.
