  1. Doomsday

    Bill Bates

He only started three seasons for Tom at Safety. He played in Jimmy's nickel package on defense and continued to be a terror on special teams. He sealed Jimmy's first playoff win with a timely interception on Chicago's last possession. He missed most of the 92 season but his best work was in the...

James Garner works his last case, dead at 86

He did most all of his own stunt driving for the show. He also raced cars professionally as a hobby. The 180 flip is actually called the "bootlegger switch" everywhere but in Hollywood stunt circles. Was perfected while Garner was still a little kid getting regularly beat up by his stepmother...

James Garner works his last case, dead at 86

Actually it was the other way around, the guest spot on the show was a product of the chemistry they had on the Polaroid commercials. I stand corrected.
  8. Doomsday

James Garner works his last case, dead at 86

Right and he did 20 years for it, and then found out it was suicide and that it was his own two kids by the suicide lady that had been trying to kill him all episode. Heavy stuff.

He got paid a few times but usually when he did he wished he could give them their money back, because apparently only scum actually pay. He also got a big finders fee from the gubmint in the Paradise Cove episode.

Super Bowl Schmuper Bowls. Cowboys are worth billions!!!!!

We can't blame Jerry for the Dallas city council being total idiots. Imagine a new stadium at Fair Park.

They were amused and pleased I understood their reference in calling me that. I even had his voice intro on my answering machine back then in those years. I have all the Rockfish episodes and the 90s movies, on DVD. That was one show they shouldn't have allowed a kid my age to watch, I learned...

Super Bowl Schmuper Bowls. Cowboys are worth billions!!!!!

Yeah, except the Dallas City Commission wouldn't even let the voters decide and flat out rejected Jerry's plan to build the new stadium in Fair Park, which was a deal almost identical to the one Arlington voters approved..
  18. Doomsday

Super Bowl Schmuper Bowls. Cowboys are worth billions!!!!!

Umm, no. It's mostly the taxpayers of Arlington, city sales taxes and a special hotel and rental car tax they voted to increase. In fact the city of Arlington owns the stadium, Jerry doesn't.
