    A different Garrett thread....

I have seen zero to indicate this. This defense sucks, this offense even with a healthy Romo and Dez is plodding and predictable, and last year was a total fluke and aberration.

    2015 NFL Week #17: Washington Redskins (8-7) @ Dallas Cowboys (4-11)

But unlike us, they're actually building something and look to be a problem in the future.

AND they made Choice the scapegoat, pretty much benching him the rest of the game then greatly reducing his touches the rest of the season as I recall. Garrett's pattern of throwing players under the bus and in the doghouse began.

It's amazing the site survives, kicking so many people off.

That's funny, especially this quote from "Aikbach" It's only two, numbskull. Ginger wasn't on the team in '92.

    Black Monday Thread

He's a proven good DC and a good position coach as well, who just happened to wind up in the worst possible place. If they fire him he will get a DC job somewhere, then later a HC spot, and do well. Shit, even the Edmund Fitzgerald sank rather than have to go to Cleveland.

    A different Garrett thread....

I'm pretty sure most all people gave him the benefit of the doubt, and lots of well wishes and positive thoughts initally. But, he promptly pissed those away and only the abject cheerleader morons are left supporting him. He's become a definite dividing line between somewhat objective...

Bob Sturm: Why I just don't love the fit of Jason Garrett coaching the Dallas Cowboys

Stop. Think. We had Romo healthy for three - count them three, 8-8 campaigns in a row. So saying we will get back to 8-8 IS optimistic, at best.

    A Football Life: Steve Largent

Largent was one of the best ever. Imagine what Seattle could have been back in those days had they picked Dorsett instead of trading that pick to us.

    QB Tidbits

You said there was no west coast or dink and dunk when Anderson played and you're simply flat wrong about that. There was, and he was. His higher completion percentages of his time reflect the fact that most of his passes were the dink and dunk variety, in the Paul Brown/Bill Walsh "Ohio River...

Redskins’ transformation started by hiring a former Dallas assistant

Builds a culture, a mindset to be champions - not through clapping and platitudes, but by hard word and most importantly, attention to detail. The total antithesis of Garrett. The lines can and DO set the tone for the team.

    QB Tidbits

Cant dispute the fact he lived in west coast dink and dunk? It's just a fact. Check the link. You said there was no west coast or dink and dunk when Anderson played and you're simply flat wrong about that.

    QB Tidbits

Actually wasn't the entire necessity of the west coast scheme because Anderson's arm was so weak? Cincy was where it was first invented by Walsh when he was there, out of necessity originally. That's why Anderson was so accurate. Pretty sure all of this was on the Walsh episode of "A football...

Good show on NFL Network: The Timeline: Tale of Two Cities

Yeah he was like, "This damn Dallas team.... always some excuse when they lose. 'Our equipment didn't show' or, 'we had this injury or that.' It's always something" and, "This is the play we'll use in the 4th quarter when they're tired and confused and wanna go home."
