Sturm Draft Preview on Paxton Lynch, Memphis QB

Slower release due to the long arms I agree, but it is rare to see these taller QBs not playing "short" and screwing up the mechanics completely. My Alma Mater suffered with exactly one such all of 2014 and about half of last season, he was just horrid. Preston Rabb. Dude sucked so badly...

It's official... I'm off the Romo bandwagon. Can't wait until he's gone.

Incorrect "inference" which actually is, "replace what he said with something we can argue against, rather than what he actually said." You completely ignore the "conservative" part. The one where they know fully well they won't have to hang 30 on us to win, without Romo, Dez or a credible...

That's total strawman. I never said anyone "tried not to score" or "took it easy" What I said was, exactly what happened, most offenses were ultra conservative then when they really needed a score, they had no trouble getting the score they needed. They avoided high risk plays and kept turnovers...

Henderson to remain with Cowboys as defensive backs coach

How does this square with the story I posted earlier that had him going to the Fins?

247Sports Thank you, Miami, for reliving us of the leader of the Legion of Boobs.

Teams were getting what they needed, whether it be 13 or 30. There's no evidence at all it wouldn't be the same deal if they needed 28 every time. We give it up, every time.

Clemson still doesn't know what to do when the TE goes long. They better get that figured out.

Two very good and well diciplined teams here. Also pride in the little things and attention to detail. See any untucked jerseys?

6th fewest snaps played yet in bottom half of the league in just about every category. This means you suck.

Sell me on: keeping Claiborne and/or Carr

Claiborne is a DUMB player. Too dumb to ever reach his so called physical potential. Dumb enough to keep making the same mistakes and never learning from them. Yes we will improve with him on another team's roster.

Wouldn't mind seeing Jones bulk up a little but still keep his speed.

They 'blew games late' because they suck. Our defensive suckage is reflected in the stats. We had fewer plays ran against us than 26 other teams, meaning we are #6 on fewest plays against. So there goes the "tired defense" crap. They weren't tired. They played fewer snaps than most other teams...

IMO that's a illusion, and much more a product of opposing offenses staying ultra conservative and mistake free, until of course they needed either a FG or a TD to win the game. It's why we weren't getting turnovers, Bub. The good offenses we played, blew us the fuck out of the stadium.

Add to this the built in injury excuse, the loserspeak code words for 'moral victory' (we fought we scratched we clawed) and it's pretty easy to see why this team has no scroat.

What was Mincey referring to here?

It was pretty much the standard injury excuse screed.

It's not unreasonable and not a stretch at all to say that opposing coaches looked at this offense with Romo out, Dez out and no Murray, and said, "Know what, we can afford to be ultra conservative on offense and eliminate mistakes, not give them any turnovers then when we need something, we go...

And I've never heard anyone saying what you're arguing against here. Nobody ever said teams intentionally didn't score. I am saying just what it was all season. "We know we won't have to worry about hanging 35 on them, so We keep it conservative and low risk, rope a dope 'em, then when we need...

But.... Our Time of Possession was invariably greater than the opponent. If our D is 'gassed' it's just because they're out of shape. All of this is fair to say too, just like it is fair to say our defense just plain sucks. Especially the Legion of Boobs secondary.

Opposing coaches knew we wouldn't be able to do shit offensively, so they played very conservatively on offense themselves, avoiding mistakes and turnovers - knowing that when the time came that they really needed something be it a FG drive, or a 96 yard TD drive, they could get it from our...
