I'll get the normal preview video up once it's out, figured I'd get things underway since icup is ready and raring to go...
Ron Rivera didn't realize his team had a chance to be eliminated from playoff contention last week under a reporter told him after the game. Carson Wentz is going to start against Dallas. No, wait, it'll be Taylor Heinicke...just kidding. It's Sam Howell. Or is it? 🤔
A dumpster fire like the Washington Commanders vs. the 12-4, playoff bound, high octane Dallas Cowboys. Should write itself, shouldn't it? There's only one problem; these Cowboys are experts in the art of playing down to their opponent. Houston, Tennessee, Chicago, need I say more?
I'm not going to pick Howell to lead his team to an upset and an embarrassment of the Cowboys franchise heading into the playoffs, but it wouldn't shock me one bit if he did. I'm calling it 20-16 Cowboys, and nobody but Jerry will be proud of it.

We're losing. Rookie will look like Joe Montana in his prime against this defense.

Field will be a slopfest and our soft team will probably come out and get wet and muddy and shrivel up in the fetal position.

Stevie A Smith with one of the few bright ideas he has ever had today I think.

He suggested the best solution for the Buffalo/Cinci game was to push back the playoffs a week (giving every team one week off) and then eliminating the two week break between the conference championship and Super Bowl. Cinci/Buffalo would then play after week 18.

For those that don't remember, our "repeat" in 1993 the Super Bowl was the week after the NFC Championship game.

Had todays concussion protocols been in place there is no way Aikman would have played after the major concussion he had vs SF. It's still amazing to this day that he was able to play in that game and he was not his normal self, but he gutted it out because well, he's Aikman.

His deep pass to Harper in the 4th was probably his only memorable play in that game.

If Cooper Rush can win against Washington, so can Dak. After all, he owns the NFCE. Plus Washington lost by two TD's against the Browns last week. Dallas has been excellent against the spread as a favorite this season. Cowboys win easily!

Our defense was playing vastly better early in the season.

The team has not been all that great v the spread the 2nd half of the season either.

We should win the game, but I have my doubts. Washington (even with a 3rd string rookie QB) is far better team than a TN team playing mostly backups. now maybe they just have a total lack of interest in the game and assume Rivera is going to be shitcanned after the game and we'll end up winning easily, but if they come out motivated to play I see another close, ugly game.

Honestly other than a few plays, that Super Bowl was not all that memorable in general.

The Bills changed their offensive style and it caught us off guard the first half, but we dominated the second half on both sides of the ball. Aikman played the entire game in a fog but our OL pummeled them in the 2nd half. James Washington had a couple more big plays (dude was a postseason big play machine for us those two yrs)

Woodson & Ware both deserve to get in but there are several other Cowboys that belong in and have for an eternity.

Sounds like you’re thinking of the 2nd Super Bowl

harpers catch was in 92 and the cowboys blew out the bills from pretty much start to finish in SB27

bills lead at half in the next Super Bowl

BB and I were both talking about that game.

Harper did have a fairly long play in the 4th qtr, I think it was 30 or 40 yards. Pretty sure that's the play BB was referring to. BB's the master at coming up with old game clips, maybe he can find it.
