Why can't we just line up, play bludgeon ball and close out games in situations like these? Why run all these sissy fucking cutesy plays? All we needed was one fucking first down.
34 carries for 160 yards and we're throwing? We didn't let our A+ QBs of the past throw in this same situation, not Roger not Troy. So why the fuck are we having our B minus QB throw the ball to close out the game?

That's the only fuckin question guys.

You fuckin run the damn ball and if you don't get the first down you just punt! You DON'T take the chance of a pick here!

This gunslinger crap isn't cutting it, and until the right person tells him so Super Bowl dreams will be only that.
The metamorphosis into Romo is almost complete. It's like they (be it Dak himself, MM & KM, Jerry) feel like they have to justify his big contract. Please just give us back 2016 Dak. We don't need another Romo. I know it's probably what a lot of our idiot fans want, but it's not what we need.

That's my post for the year. As you were.

Going to be interesting how the play calling goes against the Egals. Dallas is the favorite & there's nothing I would like to have for Christmas more than a win against Philly. Tired of hearing about them. Hope they get knocked out in the first round!

Well as I predicted, we lost. The only thing I missed on was the game itself was close on the scoreboard.

That ultimately is a little misleading, as we got three very fortunate turnovers and Lawrence had a few high throws to bail us out (in addition to two or three bad drops by their WR's), what we saw however was a pretty firm fucking ass beating. They completely dominated the LOS on both sides and the pass rush was again completely non-existent. The problem this week was in addition to never touching the QB, we didn't touch any RB's until they were a good 4-6 yards downfield and they consistently tore off chunks of 6-8-10 yards against this collection of fucking pussies.

This team is an utter fraud and I stand by my prediction after last weeks humiliating "win" that we won't win another game this year (regular season or postseason).

1) Prescott had a pretty good game, save one really awful, lousy stupid rookie like interception that ended up costing us 7pts. The pick 6 to end the game I really don't blame him for, he hit Noah Brown in the chest with it from what I saw. We were up 27-10 and cruising and Prescott's first pick definitely changed the game, but even after the defense wilted like the pussies they are and Jacksonville got the lead, Prescott responded by leading a TD drive to retake the lead at 34-31. 34 fucking points should win 100% of the time.

2) Run game was called a lot, but was not as effective in the 2nd half and there were far too many tackles for losses or no gain, including on our final drive of regulation when we needed one first down to ice the game and couldn't gain one damn net yard on the first two offensive plays. Jacksonville was missing their #1 overall pick DE from this year and they STILL had 7 tackles for loss and 3 sacks in the game. Championship teams don't do this. Everyone is up in arms about calling a pass on 3rd down of final series, but they had to get a first down and were not getting it via the run (or even coming close). It also got extremely irritating to see Moore call the same failed run play design over and over and over (the one with 3 WR's stacked way out wide and noted by the Olson during game)

3) I guess we now see why they were so desperate to add WR's. Brown blew the game with a horrible clank off his chest and Gallup literally couldn't get open against nobody CB's. I'm still surprised they didnt dress Hilton after they said he looked really good in practice this week. Not sure what the issue is with Jalen Tolbert, but it's obvious he is buried in the coaches doghouse as he was not even active again yesterday despite obvious WR problems. James Washington was active but I didn't notice him one time on the field.

4) What can you say about the defense other than it's a complete disgrace. Yesterday's game was very reminiscent of the Mike Nolan all time worst franchise defense of 2020. They couldn't stop the run, they couldn't stop the pas, they cant rush the passer a lick. They cant tackle anything. This defense is a complete fraud and I truly hope some sucker team hires Dan Quinn as a HC so he won't be here next year. They have not been good since the Vikings game, which is obviously a fluke at this point. The defense has now blown 14 and 17 point 2nd half leads against two mediocre teams in the span of just over a month. Yesterday they gave up season highs in points and yards. Fucking disgrace.

5) Micah Parsons has the same chance of winning defensive player of the year as I do now, which is ZERO. He had one sack and did make a nice hustle play to recover what should have been the GW fumble, but otherwise was completely invisible again and was washed out over and over and over vs the run. They've ruined this kid by playing him at DE so much, especially in the super light fronts they line up in that just entice teams to run the football.

6) We have unquestionably the worst safety group in the NFL vs the pass. These guys are almost NEVER in a position to make a play, even if they are responsible for the double team help. Kearse and Hooker are extremely slow in space, and adding LB Anthony Barr to the equation makes us even slower.

7) Team is getting decimated by injuries at the worst possible time, as it appears we have probably lost LVE for the season (and might be career ender this time). At one point yesterday it seemed a guy was helped off every series.

8) These guys are losers, period. It's what they've done for this disgrace of a run (which will now be 27 yrs) and I'm very close to just not wasting my time with this garbage anymore. Its fucking Groundhog Day the movie year after year after years with these clowns. Jerry and Spawn run this thing like morons and its clear the country club environment and attitude are encouraged and implanted from these two idiots. The team folds like a cheap tent every December and January.

7 tackles for losses and countless others with no gain or 1 yard are why

It wont matter how the play calling goes.

Philly is going to win this game by 4 tds. I won't be surprised if this defense gives up 50 pts this week.

While somewhat true, this defense didn't do jack shit.

Hell even the fumble Kearse "forced" wasn't even that good of a hit, he almost missed Lawrence completely if you watch the play again.

Bland's pick was nice, but it was an obvious misfire by Lawrence and had Lawrence looked just a little left he'd have seen the guy running 30 yards or so free down the middle of the field for an easy TD. Christian Kirk dropped a laser beam that probably would have been a 60+ yd TD. The first "fumble" we got had nothing to do with our defense actually doing anything, the RB just didn't secure the handoff.

34 pts should win a game 100% of the time, period. But when your defense gives up 500+ yards and 34 pts of its own to allow OT, you don't.

Well, I think I've managed to watch most of the lowlights. Relevant thoughts on what I've seen:
1. A decimated secondary and a, well I don't know what the hell has happened to our pass rush. But this is not the same defense we all saw and loved the first couple of months of the season.
2, Trevor Lawrence did everything I was afraid he'd do, ripping Dallas apart. I figured Zay Jones would keep it up today but three touchdowns?! Pathetic.
3. Kellen Moore is an idiot. 'nuff said.
4. Dak needs an attitude adjustment to the side of his head. This gunslinger crap isn't cutting it, and until the right person tells him so Super Bowl dreams will be only that.
Not enough criticism of the shitpile defense, but otherwise agree with everything.

Dallas could have had the wild card slot today but Dak blew it again!
Dak blew it?

You think the defense played a nice game?

34 pts and 500+ yards of total offense allowed is ok?

Prescott really had one bad throw the entire game, maybe two.

I don't want the guy here any more either, but we didnt lose yesterday because of Prescott.

This is 2 games now the defense has completely shit the bed with 14 and 17 pt 2nd half leads against teams with LOSING records. Put blame where blame is deserved.

English, nice to see you. Hang out with us more.

That said, 41 rush attempts yesterday. Teams running the ball that much in todays NFL is almost unheard of now. We had a huge TOP advantage too.

This is a pic of the final play yesterday.

Ball hits Noah Brown exactly where it should, and this was a first dwn conversion. Instead he brick hands it and they pick it off to end the game.

It wasn't even covered that good.

This is the new NFL that the owners want. Defensive performances are becoming more and more rare. The bottom line is that the D gave the O the ball back with 1:38 left to play....the O failed. Then the D gave the ball back to the O in OT......and the O failed. Bottom line.

Sorry Amigo, you are never going to sell me on this.

500+ yards and 34 pts to a 5-8 team is LOSING football and that has nothing to do with the "new NFL owners want" What we saw looked like garbage you'd see in the sham Pro Bowl games.
