I think Parsons was over rated. A one trick pony who if he didn't beat you off the snap got erased most of the time. That said Bebe nailed it. Jerry doing his best Ned Beatty squealing like a pig. An aging Ken Clarke and two number one picks number picks who if they fall in the 20's likely second round grades. Epitome of a 30 year shit show.

He is awfully good at that one trick though. I'm not sure the Cowboys ever really intended to rush Micah so much. I think due to injuries they felt they had no choice. D-law got hurt, Williams got hurt, etc.

That said, this Jones and Spawn PC is beyond pathetic. These guys took a bad situation and made it worse. Came off as completely and utterly clueless.

Look guys.....Do I wish Parsons had gone to another team that gave us a shot at picking higher? Absolutely. Do I wish we had gotten more in terms of players and/or draft picks....100%. But this team is going to be what it is with or without Parsons. If the guy under center plays well, this team has a chance. That's the case with or without Micah. If Mich was still here and played well but the QB sucked balls....then we'd lose. It's really that simple. I only wish Jerry would have pulled this trigger with Dak.

There came a point that Parsons became a diva and a cancer. I wouldn't want to give him that money either and as much as I dislike Jones, he always overpays. It wouldn't surprise me if there was more to the story and Micah was causing some issues in the locker room when he was here.

About the only thing Parsons offered was flashes of generational talent on Sundays that we could watch in our misery while #4 dink and dunks his way to a punt. But that's simply not enough. This team, or lack there of, is Jerry's creation. His spawn will run it when he's gone. And the spawn's spawn after that. This franchise is a joke, with or without Micah.

Thank goodness the arrogant drama queen is gone! So, the deal Dallas had on the table for Parsons back in March was a 5-year, $202 million extension, per a source close to Parsons. That would have been $40.5 million per year. This new deal with the Packers exceeds that by $6.5 million per year.


I mean the person with 40.5 mil is no happier than the person with 46 mil right?
Didn't Parsons say "it wasn't about the money"?

Yep, the intent was him to be a fulltime LB (which he was in his first game)

As you note, they moved him there as a bandaid and found out he was really, really good at it (the pass rush piece anyway).
