The governor plans to go through the Legislature to usher in a map with more Democratic seats if Texas tilts its map to the right, according to a person with knowledge of Newsom’s thinking.

Being in CA and seeing the daily meltdowns of the libtards over the ICE raids….

I’m loving it.

Although, they did raid my local car wash which had all the workers run away. They didn’t come back for 3-4 weeks. So I have had to wash my damn car for awhile.

Also, we went to the local Korean Bbq joint that same night and it completely closed down for the day because of the raid because the car wash was about 100 yards away. So all the cooks were too scared to come to wok thinking they were going to next.

This really is a real life “a day without a Mexican” like the movie.

No car washes were open for weeks. Restaurants closed down for lack of staff, and other businesses closed down as well here locally.

So far they are not deporting anyone who has not crossed the law at least once. Most already have deportation orders that were ignored by the Biden admin.

I have no problem deporting all of them regardless. We cannot say we are a nation of laws if we start picked and choosing when to uphold them and when to ignore them. This is how we get to the double standard that exists today.

I look at it this away. If I was waiting on line to get on a disney ride, and a family of 4 cut in front of the line it is not only inconsiderate of everyone on the line, it also says those people who cut in have no regard for others. No one behind them would be happy and would expect Disney employees to kick them out of line.

I feel the same way about illegal border crossers. They are cutting in and thumbing their noses at us as they do it. In the meantime, thousands of legal immigrants paid thousands of dollars and waiting in line for their turn. It is not fair to them. It is not fair to us.

If they want to come here, they should come the legal way. Most of them lie to get asylum or steal SS numbers to work her illegally.

Technically they aren’t cooking anything. It’s a Korean BBQ where you cook your own meat. They just bring it to you.

But this is CA. Mexicans cook absolutely everything! Nearly Every kitchen in SoCal is staffed with Mexican workers.

My wife is Korean, the better Korean BBQ restaurants here their staff actually brings it out and cooks it for you. And the staff, owners etc etc are all Korean (at the better ones, we do have some where there are hispanics as wait staff/cooks and it's just not as good)

And I DO have a problem with that ridiculousness. It should be a fairly rapid process to gain citizenship legally.

They pack so much flavor into so many of their dishes.. I read that the government of South Korea created a campaign or something where they wanted to make Koreans known for their cooking and in the process that spurred on a lot of chefs, etc., and I guess contributed to how great their food is.

I disagree. Immigration needs to be controlled, and by that I mean we can just let as many people in as want to come here. It should be limited based on skills, the ability to take responsibility for themselves, and to obey our laws and customs including language.

If we do not control immigration we will wind up with culture chaos, like they have in Sweden, France, Germany and Britain. In the US we allow so many Spanish speaking immigrants to our country so quickly we had to adapt the language for them. We have never done that before despite being a nation of immigrants. Now we have large areas in certain states that basically speak Spanish.

Language and culture are seeds of division and a house divided cannot stand.

Maybe we can loosen the requirements a little but it should never be easy.
