I love the Cowboys but I hate the following about the Cowboys:
- Jerry. I don't care if he's "doing better now." I will forever hate this man for putting his ego ahead of the team and essentially holding this franchise hostage for 20 years. I will cherish the day he dies.
- Garrett. Prime years of All Pro players, including the hardest position in the NFL (QB) so he could get OJT. Incredulous game mismanagement leading to a number of utterly baffling losses against a number of teams. I don't buy that he's getting better just beause he was stripped of power. I'll also not ever forget his throwing his QB under the bus a number of times after losses. To me, he looks the part, sounds the part, but ultimately is just a clapping, motivational speaking politician who is getting propped up by incredible OC/DC and a hall of fame QB. He himself offers nothing.
And really that's about it. Those two things.
Outside of that, I dislike most of our hashtagCowboyNation cowboys rule!!!!!! fanbase who rubber stamp everything the team does.
Oh and generally speaking, I tend to take a glass half full approach to the team. I tend to distrust certain players. I don't think Randle will end up a stud RB. I don't trust that Hardy will stay out of trouble. I don't trust that McClain can be relied upon. Etc. Not saying I don't get why we take risks on some guys (although I'm all for shitcanning McClain now). Just saying I tend to be overly skeptical of these guys.
Prepare for the worst, hope for the best if you will.
Pretty sure you did, you're negative about virtually everything except being homo, so don't see why this would be an exception.
Yea right. If you show any optimism about the team they gang up on your ass.
Cant believe I wasted 20 seconds to read this.

I have this memory burned in my head of Jerry that I will never shake...
It was after a loss to Atlanta in 2012, dropping us to 3-5 at the halfway point. Jason had a dumbass PC aired on NFL Network where he gave a usual generic "I thought we played good but they played better. They're a good football team and we didn't do enough in all three phases of the game to win the football game." Blah blah blah
Jerry was cornered by some media members and was getting his feet held to the fire by Tim McMahon about hiring a GM. Jerry kept giving his dismissive answers and Tim kept pressing. Jerry didn't give a shit. Just kept that fucking grin on his face and answered each question with a condescending wink/smile.
I was crushed after that loss because it was a roller coaster of a game and we made one hell of a comeback to take the lead late, but blew it. Hearing Garrett's assinine cliches and Jerry's smug fucking face pissed me off to no end.
Nonsense. It might though happen when one claims to be objective then in the same paragraph declares he has only positive feelings. If you show any optimism about the team they gang up on your ass.
That's right. If the faith in the religion is strong, persecution shouldn't matter. And mindless Homerism such as Everlast displays is, a religion. He has faith. Like every Cleveland Browns fan does in his team too.you don't need anyones seal of approval for your views anyway
There's been none since the final gun popped on Super Bowl 30. Yes, that's right - Roger Staubach defined "a successful season" immediately after Dallas won its first Super Bowl. A successful season in Dallas ends with the team hoisting the Vince Lombardi Trophy. Any other outcome is not successful and not acceptable. That's the standard many have completely forgotten. This is the Dallas Cowboys. My hate for jj is being calmed by recent success

And since when is predicting 8-8 or 9-7 NOT optimistic?Yea right. If you show any optimism about the team they gang up on your ass.
