You are right. I have had several surgeries on my spine/disk and the surgery may take care of one big problem, but it creates several small ones. Every surgery took something out of me and limited my physical capabilities.

Sorry bro.
Have a life long friend who went through a very similar process,it's horrible.

Bitch, I ain't fat. I have had seven major surgeries on my spine. I need five more , but I told the doctor no way. I have had over twenty outpatient surgeries. Both of my rotator cuffs are torn, I got another bad disc in my neck and back and I need a fusion surgery on the SI joint between my hip and back. One wild bitch rid all this to me. I should have married her. She liked kinky sex in strange positions. Good God , she was worth it.

Thanks, it is a bitch. I started falling apart two days before my 34th birthday. I was supposed to be in a wheelchair twice over the years, so I am lucky. It could be much worse. Bad genetics played a big part with all my injuries.

Imagine there's a talented surgeon who can make all of your problems go away with a simple surgery.

He'll do it pro bono so it won't cost you a dime.

All of your pain gone in a single afternoon.

Now imagine he's gay.

Can he touch you?

Gays aren't serious minded enough to get through med school. they're attracted to soft majors in the humanities.

I loved every minute of it. Me and her are thinking about taking a vacation to Europe this fall if my wife don't mind.

This is very close to the exact response that I was thinking of. I wouldn't let one touch me. He would only be thinking about my man-meat and would screw up the surgery. There is no telling where they have had their nasty hands.

Watched every play. Preseason has no bearing on his future just like it has no bearing on any of the other rookie QBs past or present. I remember Troy Aikman playing against the Saints on opening day. Do you know how he did?

Manziel is going to be a star. Its just a matter of time.

Aikman was 6'4, 225with a rifle arm, pinpoint accuracy and didn't care about anything other than winning and making sure teammates worked their asses off.

He is the anti Manziel

I'm not a Romo - hater, per se , but it's time to move on. Oh wait, we still owe him $1,000,000,000,000.

I wonder if anyone has all the details of his contract, or could pose the question to some of the Cowboy writers and maybe they could find out.

If he is really done and has to retire, and we owe him nearly 60 million guaranteed with no ifs, ands or buts we could be in serious trouble.

They can sugarcoat it and deny it all they want, but nobody's the same after going under the knife for invasive disk surgery.

Aikman himself said as much about his own experience with it, as did players and coaches who were around him.

He was simply an example of a young QBs struggling early. I am not surprised you missed my point.

Romo himself was saying it too, all offseason practically. Saying "you have to change everything you do" etc. I'll find that and post it.

Alot of his early struggles were due to Johnson bringing in Steve Walsh, his national champion winning QB from Miami, and Johnson's strategy of being aloof to the whole roster in the first season.

Once Walsh was gone and Jimmy had a bulk of players he wanted to commit to, Aikman began to flourish.

Manziel is no Aikman. Them both being young is the only valid comparison at all between them. Aikman even in his first season, was a grown man and Manziel will never be anything but a immature little Boy.

Aikman flourished once he had hall of fame talent around him. Browns have very few playmakers. Their best one is suspended.

Anyways, i dont put much stock into dbairs QB evaluations. He pimped Stephen McGee for years when it appeared to me he had nothing.

Manziel has similar qualities as Romo. Same struggles and same strengths. It may take him some time to adjust to the NFL much like it did with Romo, Favre, Young, ect. Of course injuries and substance abuse could derail him like any other player. I think he will mature over time like many other players do. Its a new era and these players march to a different drum.

Anyways, i know i wont convince anyone of JFF. They have their minds already made up.

I think your evaluation of Manziel is spot on. Many people have made up their minds due to his cocky attitude. I wished Dallas had a player with enough balls to flip the Redskins off, but they don't. The one thing that can kill his career is the team that he is on. The Browns have ruined many young QBs.

First off, if you cant tell the difference between the way someone like Aikman threw the ball compared to someone like Manziel, there's just no hope for you.

Second, in 1989 the Cowboys were one of the least talented teams in the history of football. Their best player (by far) was Herschel Walker, and they sent him packing early in the season. If someone like Manziel or even Romo played on that type of team, 1) they'd be dead because they could never withstand the punishment of the hits they'd take and 2) they'd look like a joke trying to throw the ball to the "talent" that was out there. The 2014 Browns are nowhere near the level of bad as the 1989 Cowboys.

Plus the 89 and 90 Cowboys had Dave Shula as OC, quite possibly one of the worst offensive coordinators/coaches in the history of the NFL.

He was in way over his head. Bruce Coslet was no prize either.
