Prescott's dubious record v the Packers continues. 1 win in his career vs a bunch of losses and one tie where neither team played any defense.

It was a true shitshow in every way possible last night. A curb-stomping that was NOWHERE near as close as the scoreboard showed. GB should have won by 30+ and easily could have if not for a plethora of drops (including no fewer than 3 perfectly thrown TDs that were dropped) and penalties.

1) The team was completely unprepared and outcoached in every sense last night. Horrendous offensive game plan and zero adjustments after HT. Stale, completely unimaginative playcalling and route designs. No run game to speak off, despite Schottenheimer claiming they had the run game issues addressed and would be vastly improved with their "plan" for last night. He's 100% proven he was the wrong guy for the job and he should be let go today, but won't be because Jones is an idiot.

2) Prescott was bad v Tampa, but he was fucking dreadful last night. Looked completely shaken almost from the opening snap and threw the ball like total shit. Could have easily had 4 or 5 picks. Had that confused, deer in the headlights look the entire night. OL wasnt great but for the 2nd straight week the QB, team and coaching staff looked like they had never seen a blitz in their entire life. GB took what Tampa did and just ran it on "repeat" all game long and we couldnt do anything about it. Several reporters/commentary people on the internet noted both those Tampa and GB went back and looked at Brian Flores/Vikings game vs us at the end of last yr and just copied it.

3) Do not understand them ignoring the middle of the field for a second consecutive game. Almost no routes between the hashes and just constant throws to the sidelines. Not much tried deep at all. Reminded me of the retard Chan Gailey system in 98 and 99. Middle appeared to be WIDE OPEN with how the Packers were running most of their coverages and pressure schemes and we just avoided it. They have 3 really, really good WR's, they shouldnt all be doing the "run to the tree and turn around" garbage we saw.

4) People will see the end result and think the defense was "improved" but it really wasnt. Dee Winters made the best play on a football we have seen all yr (maybe because its the only one lol) and IMO was robbed of the pick 6. And yeah GB didnt run the ball much on us (57 yds and 2.6 per carry) but they didnt need to. At one point GB was 9/10 on 3rd downs and converted a number of very long yardage 3rd downs (same as all other weeks so far) Guys were constantly wide open and while we did get 3 sacks we didnt force their QB into many bad throws. I bet GB players dropped a total of a half dozen balls (incl the noted 3 TDs) so the score could have been MUCH more lopsided.

5) They drafted Malachi Lawrence in the 1st rd to be an edge/pressure guy, but on a number of plays I saw him dropping into coverage. One play they rushed only 3 and Lawrence was chasing WR's 20-30 yds downfield in the endzone. To his credit he may have actually got a finger on that ball too, but it's just a stupidly run scheme to be doing this.

6) The more Parker coaches Caleb Downs, the less impact he will ever make. Nick Saban and Matt Patrica both raved about how good and how cerebral Downs was in complex, NFL style defenses at Alabama and Ohio State. The guy was one of the top defensive players in th country for 3 seasons, and Parker is ruining him here.

7) Why does Terence Steele continue to play? How many times can somebody just out and out whiff on a block (run or pass) and not be benched? He's awful.

8) Brevyn Spann-Ford started the game. Positive move. Made a couple nice catch/runs too. Positive. Jake Ferguturd still ended up with more snaps. Fucking stupid.

9) I'm sure the moron in charge won't do it, but this is a lost cause season and lost cost franchise. It's time for a vastly different approach to an offseason, and that starts by starting to proactively make calls and try to move what players you can NOW. Absorb cap hits while they have a ton of money and start a true rebuild next year with a new staff, as much draft capital as you can have and spend wisely in free agency. #1 move should be firing himself and finally hiring someone competent to run the FO but at a minimum he needs to be a seller instead of a buyer at this trade deadline. The sad thing is I have already seen comments from the Jones puppets in the media of "well they are right there in it to win the division". Be fucking honest, a 7-10 or 8-9 NFC East division title followed by a complete flop in the WC round does NOTHING and adds zero value to the team or fan enjoyment at all. Other than firing himself, the #1 must make move this offseason should be drafting Prescott's replacement. He's probably not tradable himself, but under no circumstances should he be extended again and they should just plan on him being gone completely in 2028.

10) I didn't really believe Jones would fire Schottenheimer this morning, even though it was 100% warranted. I still think the likely "fire" date if they do it in-season is after the Seattle game on Dec 7th. They have the bye week afterward and barring some major miracle the team will likely be 5-8 at absolute best, with games remaining at Rams, Jags, Giants and at Forekins. They'll be underdogs in at least 3 of those 4.

This is a sickening team to watch and last night should have been the last straw for me too, but I'm sure it wont be. I'll watch but also probably start tuning out games once the obvious result starts being displayed. I'll also make little effort to watch games live. Just no reason to.

Only 5 weeks in, and they are done. Stick a fork in them. There is absolutely no way with this coaching staff that they will win more than 6 or 7 games and most likely they will struggle to win 4 or 5.

BB hates me saying I've been a fan since 1975, but in all those years I have never seen a more embarrassing loss than last night. Some certainly warrant consideration (games like Buffalo 1984 and the first game the Texans ever played in 2002) but nothing compares to this. 0-4 team, at home, starting an undrafted rookie free agent at QB and the guy is making his 2nd start ever. Ending line was Dallas by 8 1/2 to 9 1/2.

1) The coaching staff of this team, particularly the HC, DC and ST leaders are the absolute worst in the NFL, and nobody comes close. Schottenheimer, Parker and Sorensen represent everything that has been wrong with Jerry's thought process for 30 years. He's acquired the worst of the worst and "hopes" they work out. Three decades plus has been wasted with many rosters talented enough to do more, but they never do. Coaching matters and its something this senile old fuck and his Spawn dipshit kid have still not figured out. And they never will.

2) Schottenheimer coached another putrid game. Team of fleas wasn't motivated to bite a dogs ass. They looked painfully slow and disinterested, other than maybe for the opening drive offensively. Then made another monumentally stupid fuck decision to go for two when down by 14 at home. No amount of thought process to "rationalize" this with bullshit analytics make any sense. Two point conversion rates are far lower than kicking the PAT, if they weren't then everyone would go for 2 every fucking time. This guy is an utter fucking moron.

3) Christian Parker is an epic level flop as a DC, there's nothing else that needs to be seen. Incompetent and uncreative. The team is overthinking and you can tell because of how slow they move around, even guys we know are quality athletes. The pass rush is nonexistent and he does nothing to "create" any. The pass coverages are as soft as a babies asses. The run defense is even worse than last yr despite a commitment to getting bigger and more physical up front. Classic Parker defense example, 3rd and 21 late in the game. No pass rush at all and guy WIDE FUCKING open 20+ yards downfield for an easy conversion. Clown HC and Dipshit GM have already stated no changes are coming. They wont even go outside the building to try and bring in someone to help this bum. The season is lost in large part because the defense is a catastrophic failure.

4) Prescott was really bad for almost the entire game last night. Made poor reads and threw the ball even worse. Multiple ducks that had no chance. Missed a gimmee TD to 88 for the 2nd straight game, although this time he tried to throw it there and the pass came up woefully short and was nearly picked off. His best play of the night was a throw that probably shouldnt have been made to begin with, but Flournoy bailed him with a sensational grab between two guys. Numerous throws sailed over heads or into the ground. Several receivers got jacked up. He's good for two or three of these absolute clunker games every single year. Take the names off of them and ask somebody who wasnt a fan to watch and decide who the UDFA rookie QB was and who was the 10+ yr veteran and I guarantee you 90% or more would have picked Daniels as the established vet.

5) As bad as Prescott was, some of his good throws were bad drops by the likes of Turd Ferguson, waste of roster spot Mingo and Flournoy (who is usually reliable, so I can forgive him). Ferguson and Flournoy brick handed two balls into interceptions, which cost us points.

6) They have 4 or 5 players who should be dumped asap. Steele is horrendous at RT and he is a complete turnstile/whiff machine. Jake Ferguson might be the worst starting TE in the league now. His games consist of drops, fumbles and pure comedy of errors blocking efforts. Daron Bland is completely washed up and when the UDFA rookie QB gifted him a potential game tying pick 6, Bland fucking dropped it. Bland's game had a host of coverage gaffes and just fell over himself on a long bomb for a huge play. Malik Hooker, like Ferguson, Steele and Bland might be the worst starter in the league at his position. Hooker was constantly out of place and even when he did notice what was happening, was too damn slow to actually do anything about it. Yet not only are these guys still here, they play almost every down. All 4 of these players were handed horrendous contract extensions. I have no doubt any well run team would at least bench these guys, but we wont.

7) Special teams contributed their usual weekly fuckups. Bad fumble by Turpin on a kickoff and a holding call on a punt that wasnt even returned, costing us great field position inside Texans territory (and of course we didnt score on the drive either).

8) Tampa had the ball for nearly 40 minutes of the game. Ran for 241 yards (3 of their other 4 games this yr they failed to total 98 yards, they had about 140 last week but was in large part due to QB scrambles). They had 24 first downs and converted over 50% of their 3rd down attempts. We must have missed 20 or 30 tackles. And they did all this despite 14 accepted penalties, many of which were holding or pre snap calls on offense. Just a disgraceful effort by this pathetic team.

9) Best moment was definitely postgame, with an unnamed person (believed to be a stadium employee) telling Prescott as he went through the tunnel "embarrassing". Prescott got all huffy puffy mad like, but the guy was 100% correct. It was a complete dumpster fire effort and performance.

I really have no interest in seeing this bullshit anymore and will make zero effort to see games if I have other plans. It's lather, rinse, repeat every year under this clown ownership. They don't care about what the results are so I don't know why we should be expected to either. I've always liked doing these post game write ups but it's getting to be tiresome and I'm unable to come up with any new descriptions of what we all see every week. It's the fucking same awful garbage every game and every season. The answer to fix it is obvious, but the drunk retard owner and his fucktard Spawn just refuse to see the forest for the trees. Fuck this team.
The bar is so Low for this team, that they will tall about their goal of being East Champions, when that will in fact mean Nothing, as this team is nowhere near being a playoff calibur team.
