Some NFL players have been born with more than 10 fingers due to a condition called polydactyly.
For instance, J.J. Weaver, a linebacker for the Carolina Panthers, was born with six fingers on his right hand.
Similarly, former New York Jets tight end Chris Herndon was born with 12 fingers (an extra pinky finger on each hand), though they were surgically removed when he was an infant.
Most recently, New York Giants rookie defensive back Korie Black revealed that he was also born with an extra finger on each hand which were subsequently removed shortly after birth.
The Cleveland Browns will start rookie Shedeur Sanders at quarterback for the team's preseason opener against the Carolina Panthers on Friday, coach Kevin Stefanski said Wednesday.
