The Dallas Cowboys topped a new Forbes study of the world's most profitable sports teams over the past three years, pocketing a total of nearly $1.2 billion over that timespan. The Cowboys' operating income -- defined by Forbes as earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization -- was substantially greater than any other professional sports team, and far more than the New England Patriots in second at $623 million.
Forbes' list was compiled from data for NFL, MLB, NBA and NHL teams as well as professional soccer teams from around the globe. Forbes' data ends with the 2021 season for football, while all other leagues' data is through 2022.

The top 25 in Forbes' study was comprised of 13 total teams from the NFL, followed by seven NBA teams, four English Premier League teams and one team (Bayern Munich) from Bundesliga. No MLB or NHL teams made the cut due to the way the COVID-19 pandemic devastated their live gate profits and the fact that those leagues' broadcasting deals are not as lucrative.

I'm not saying he'll be good there, but what's wrong with trying it if Tyron is healthy?
Good OL coaches usually want to find ways to get the 5 best OL on the field.

im not a big fan of playing musical chairs at OL
and DAL is making room to squeeze in tyron--who is going to get hurt anyway--so they'll eventually have to revert back to steele there
the patriots did it a lot and got away with it because they had a HOF HC and OL coach, and brady getting the ball out in under 3 seconds........ DAL has not been that type of offense, ever

and yet somehow in recent seasons the Cowboys ranked at the top of the league every yr in yards in points....

You said Dallas has never been that type of offense, and yet despite all the shortcomings somehow they are right at the top in the things that matter on offense, moving the ball and scoring points.
I don't really get the "musical chairs" argument though. Tyron Smith started his career here at RT and played it again at the end of last yr. Tyler Smith was drafted to be the LT of the future and the future came from game one, and he looks like a 10+ year starter there. The same guy is at C, the same guy is at RG.
Steele is nowhere near as good as Tyron Smith and if Smith is healthy, it's a no brainer to leave him at RT. Steele shows some traits which might make him a pretty solid G, plus he is coming off a knee injury and it might be easier for him to play a position inside where there's more help. There's nothing wrong with trying him there if they believe he is definitely one of the 5 best OL.

McCarthy is not Belichick (and not many are on his level, ever) but Solari is an outstanding OL coach and has developed strong OL's at a number of stops.
The Pats OL coach did a great job for a long, long time and sometimes made some lunch pail type guys into really solid starters. Solari though is very proven and actually has quite a bit of talent on this OL to work with, I'm not worried about the OL at all. In fact I believe it will be vastly improved this year.
