He really was not good tonight before he got hurt anyway.

Great kid and hate that he got the two major knee injuries. He certainly looked like a find for awhile. But he never really looked right last yr and like I said, it didnt seem like he was really good tonight with how they wanted to use him.

I'm fine with moving on simply because he can't be counted on and he has not yet demonstrated the ability to do what Sean Lee used to do. We were patient with Lee because when he was healthy he was a darn good LB and an exceptional leader. I think Overshown's sample size is too small to give him the same leeway.

I'm not comparing Dart to Aikman in terms of overall game and so forth, but a lot of what I hear about Dart from people would be like judging Troy Aikman off his rookie year without taking into account the talent around him.

Dart had a lot to overcome his rookie year, including losing his HC, best RB, and best WR.

Dart got sent to the tent a lot because he is a baller trying to make plays. That should never have been interpreted as he gets hurt a lot. If the rules had been the same in Aikman's rookie year, then Aikman would have been sent to the tent every game.

People are frustrated because it looks like we've had the rug pulled. I understand it is game 1, but all the people who make a living off commenting on the Cowboys on their YT channels hyped the crap out of CP and the defensive changes.

By the way, the Deep Blue on Tony Dorsett is fantastic. Highly recommend people watch it.

I really expected to see us play better defense. There were breakdowns all over the place directly related to coaching. It’s sad to see what the Jones have done to our Cowboys. I am coming to the realization that I will never see a Super Bowl in my lifetime. I have had to tell myself it’s just entertainment so don’t let it bother you. As hard as I try to shake it off it still bothers me. Disappointment doesn’t even begin to describe what we all witnessed last night. That was a good ole fashion ass whippin. I want to believe this was just a one off and everything will be okay. The delusional intrusive thoughts just keep coming. If last night was any indication of what’s to come we are in deep trouble.
