Christian Parker's debut:

29 first downs allowed. 9/10 3rd down conversions allowed. Almost 400 yds offense allowed. 165 yds rushing allowed. Almost 37 mins time of possession allowed. Very few pressures on the QB.

FLOP of an effort.

So the question is if this roster really is good enough to beat the Bears, Lions, Rams, Niners, Seahawks this year, because Jerry seems hell bent on thinking that it is and he has been teasing another big trade.

Would Max Crosby have changed anything?
Nope

He isnt the only one.

They had a lot of us fooled this time though. Certainly seemed like they were doing a lot of the right things for once, and all that optimism just got flushed down the commode with a truly despicable performance to open the season.

This looks like a 4 or 5 win team, at best.
I get pissed at Broaddus and Voch Lombardi because they both seem arrogant as fuck to me. I have literally been telling them for months now that the Giants are better than they are giving them credit for. Then I get replies from other fans saying that I am clueless.

Put him in the HOF now, LOL.

At least Eberflus had zero talent to work with. His best player in the secondary might have been Reddy and who were his LBs?

The hype on CP hit silly level.

ANNNNDDDDDDDD here we go with more of the annual "Cowboy defense superlatives"

We have more of these than any other team, every single year.

He looked completely hopeless tonight, and amazingly the defense was even WORSE in the 2nd half.

Watching teams run the same plays or play concepts over and over and over and every single time it works to perfection is just embarrassing.

Not only was it not improved, it got WORSE

The 3rd down conversion is only 9/11 instead of 9/10 (90%) because the Giants took a knee on the last drive.

Get the bunch out of your shorts. I didn't say Williams was right. I said I disagree with calling penalties on every little thing.
I mean, he didnt even try to be discreet about it.

I really like JW, but that was moronic what he did.

You're not wrong. He shouldn't have done it, and should run sprints tomorrow for it. I just feel like it's something they're putting an over emphasis on right now. Not quite as bad as when they were killing celebrations, but in the same vein.

I think he's probably right, just time to move on from him. You certainly cannot give him an extension.

He really was not good tonight before he got hurt anyway.

Great kid and hate that he got the two major knee injuries. He certainly looked like a find for awhile. But he never really looked right last yr and like I said, it didnt seem like he was really good tonight with how they wanted to use him.

Giants Stadium is not a gimmee place dude.

The winds there have been rough on kickers for decades, even with the new version.

To bang on the kicker for missing a 50yd PAT with all the other shit you just witnessed seems to show you have your priorities mixed up.
Sorry, I expect people to do their job! Aubrey is paid to make that. He isn't paid to make the everyday kick that anyone can basically make. His leg is supposed to be powerful. A strong leg can rip through the wind.

As you might remember, I had season tickets to Bills games at Rich Stadium. The winds there were for real. And kickers like Steve Kristie ripped right through it and made 50 yard kicks.

Was Javante a jackass? Yes. Do I expect a highly paid kicker to make a 50 yarder? YES!

Maybe it was a bad hold. IDK, But not expecting a kicker to make a 50 yarder in September, even in NY, means we have pretty low expectations.

And, BTW...

Poorly coached, poorly prepared, poorly executed.

Jerry is running a shit show. But the ad buyers keep coming, so he's got no fucks to give.
