Been commenting on Crown Global media to Voch Lombardi and Broaddus that they have been overestimating Caleb Downs' impact. He's a friggin safety. His impact is limited by nature.

I still maintain that Dallas would have been better off passing on Downs and drafting Reuben Bain and then following up with Thielman. But all they seem to give a shit about is "Downs was the top rated player on my board". Congratulations. Who gives out the prize for drafting the best player on the board?

I've been commenting that they are down playing the Giants' draft.

The Cowboys media is the main reason why every year fans think the Cowboys are better than what they are.

The hope is that this is just the first game, a bad day at the office...that's the hope. It's got to get better, right, as they gel, right? Assuming nobody gets hurt, .

Still say signing Dak Prescott was a mistake! A lot of QBs have been available who could have been just as good, if not better, if they played on a lower contract so we are not dealing with players like Steele. I would have rather had an aging Aaron Rodgers (making relative peanuts) with Mike McCarthy (or Schotty), for example, and you take that money saved and get depth and better starters.

I seriously believe Troy Aikman would have made a great Cowboy's GM, great players would have wanted to play for him.

Even if the Cowboys manage to win, the Giants will have sent a message. They are better than Voch Lombardi and Broaddus claimed and their talent is still young. Voch was basically laughing at the idea that the Giants could win.
