I've long criticized Fish for being a hack, but he is spot on here.

Just poorly handled by Dak and the Cowboys all the way around. Prescott made an ass of himself.

He's not spot on. He and the Dallas media are as much a hack and a fraud as Dak. Dak is only part of the problem but the media refuse to go after the main culprit. But somehow they want to be critical of Dak.

And he's absolutely right about the Northeast fans. But the Northeast media would be right there with them. Fish and his ilk are just clickbait cowards.

Yeah...he went after Dak......after years of holding his jock. And none of these fools say a peep about Jerry. They're not honest brokers who report the news as they should. I have no problem being critical of Dak. But these guys are hacks and Dak is easy prey right now...

Also, good video interview you posted in another thread of Marv Lewis. He nailed it. These guys know when coaching is a problem and you can't fix it because Schotty and Parker won't become the alpha males overnight.

And yet the geniuses at IdiotZone have a thread about replacing Parker with Quinn right now if he gets fired.

They also seem to have forgot about that defensive debacle that Quinn masterminded in his last game here in 2023.

I posed this question to some Amigos yesterday.

Without looking it up, name me the marquee or stud defensive players on the Vikings defense. And yet excuse after excuse is made for why the Cowboys are bad this yr, last yr, the prior year etc etc because of "lack of talent"

Another suffocating performance yesterday, yielding around 140 yds total offense, only 9 first downs, forced 3 turnovers and only 1/10 on 3rd down conversions.

There's a blurb here somewhere I posted that says the Cowboys haven't won a game when scoring less than 20 pts since something like 2017 or 2018. The Vikes have had TWO of those games this year alone.

Unfortunately you're right. The bigger issue is that the players know and see it. These men need a tough alpha and I was hoping Parker would be that guy but he's not. He wants the players to like him. And he'll go down with that ship.

Really no way anyone could have expected it to be this bad, he was universally praised by people in the league, players and media alike. However this is the one danger when you give someone the keys that's never driven the car. Unfortunately, he drove it off a cliff.

It's a risk you take but I like the fact that they went after a young and rising (by all accounts) coordinator. What should come out in the interview process is the guy's psyche. What's he like? Is he demanding? What's his style? Is he a manager and leader of men? There are criteria past the X's and O's that should be evaluated. And he should also be evaluated in how he handles this mess and responds to it.
