Jay Glazer strongly hinting Quinnen Williams may be getting moved, several Cowboy reporters speculating it's us.

Jets are going to own the next two drafts.

Coincidentally, I was just thinking about whether Quinnen could be added. But I would really like to keep both number one picks. I think the season is lost.

I have mixed feelings about this. I don't know if I like it yet because of the potential cap issues and I had hoped that we could parlay a number 1 for several picks near draft day.

We'll need to get very lucky to make the playoffs this year, I think.

I doubt they made this trade with the hopes it was somehow saving the season. This seems like part of a plan for the future.

He's a really good DT, not many on his level and we certainly haven't had anyone as good as him inside in a long time.

Looks like it is a 2026 2nd rd pick and one of the 2027 1st rd picks, PLUS Mazi Smith.

Including him may have helped get the trade to a 2nd and 1st instead of two 1sts. If so, good.

The Lions basically rebuilt with a lot of draft capital...and so did we many moons ago. It's a great way to get your cap situation in order and flood the team with young talent for at least a few years.

I'm a big fan of tanking. Unless people buy into the idea that the GM is not tanking but instead "adding by subtracting."
