I'v got to admit, there were more positives last week than I expected. Dak played better than pretty much any point last year. Javonte Williams came through when it counted. The defense backs shut down AJ Brown and Devonta Smith. The coaching staff had a game plan and they actually stuck with it.
The Giants were aweful. Russell Wilson was hot garbage, and the running game, which was the one thing that gave Dallas fits, was underwhelming to put it mildly. I don't see them turning around with Russ; the only question is whether Jaxon Dart gets put in before or after Daboll gets fired.
Will the Giants team from last week show up and face the Cowboys team from last week? It's a gamble, but my magic 8 ball says "It seems likely." Let's say they do, and call it 23-10 Cowboys.

My only real question is can their impressive edge pass rushers singlehandedly dictate the outcome of this game?
That's really the only Cowboy problem area of this game where I could see them pull off the upset.

So Guyton and Steele better be ready and Schotty better have a very Dak friendly plan involving extra quick release throws to negate the Giant pass rush.

Do that and I think the Boys could win by more than one score.
But if Dak is runnng for his life/ getting sacked almost every passing down, they could upset us.
Just my opinion.

The Gnats haven't beaten Dak since his rookie season in 2016. You'd think just by the law of averages that they'd be due a win against him sooner or later. But not this time. Dak prevails again in an uncomfortable 23-20 Cowboys win.

It looks like they intended to sign him but for some reason changed their minds. Perhaps they'll be moving for a veteran CB now with the news Bland is out for at least a game or two and perhaps longer.

Brian Schottenheimer had harsh words for George Pickens after reckless penalty

https://thelandryhat.com/cowboys-br...d-harsh-words-george-pickens-reckless-penalty

"We talked about it. We approach all things like that. He came in too high and slung the guy down, and it was a good penalty (call)…We just talked about it. You can't hurt the team. And I love the physicality that George plays with, but all of us, you can't do stupid (expletive)."

Everyone knows I bang on T Steele a lot for poor play.

But holy shit look at this effort. (78). This looks like the guy Zack Martin once proclaimed as "one of the best run blocking T's I've ever seen"
