And daboyz made a 60 ft putt last year. "Stuff" isn't "diffrunt" at all!
1) 13 years ago Kyle Williams fumbles the punt return in overtime & the ball is recovered by the Giants to set up the game winning Field Goal to send them to the Super Bowl. Had nothing to do w/Eli. Just luck.
2)
- David Tyree's "Helmet Catch" in Super Bowl XLII: This incredible catch is perhaps the most famous in Super Bowl history. Eli Manning escaped pressure and heaved a long pass downfield to David Tyree. Tyree secured the ball against his helmet while falling to the ground, somehow maintaining possession despite a defender's challenge. This impossible play was a pivotal moment in the drive that led to the Giants' upset victory over the undefeated New England Patriots.View attachment 18956

- Mario Manningham's catch in Super Bowl XLVI: On the first play of a crucial drive in the fourth quarter, Eli Manning launched a deep pass down the sideline. Mario Manningham made a spectacular catch between two Patriots defenders, keeping his feet in bounds for a critical gain. This play jump-started the drive that would ultimately lead to the game-winning score for the Giants. Some even argue this was the greatest catch in Super Bowl history.View attachment 18957
Both Eli's SB wins were due to spectacular catches by Giants WR's. Some fans claim Eli put the ball where no opponent can reach it when Manningham made that catch.
Had Manningham NOT put his feet down, No Ring For You Eli. Eli won both SBs by 3 points & 4 points due to his WR's. Unlike his brother Peyton, who dominated both SB's, 29-17 vs Chicago & 24-10 vs Panthers. Peyton won because of his performance in the entirety of both SB's & not lucky catches by his WR's.
Eli was never the QB the media made him out to be.
