Cowboys believe Marinelli can spark defensive revival

Plus you're looking at only three losses which could be called blowouts, from this worst defense in the league.

Cowboys believe Marinelli can spark defensive revival

This isn't a Romo debate and no one was criticizing Romo. This is pointing out that the patchwork, off the street worst defense in the league gave us chances to win games and we didn't.

Cowboys believe Marinelli can spark defensive revival

Nobody was blaming him for anything. The Chicago game was a example of the defense NOT playing well, not of them playing well. Just like the Nawlins game. I was merely pointing out that in games where the defense played reasonably well, we could not generate enough offense to win. Give me the...

And look what turnovers do for the offense. It's free extra shots at the opponent's D. But too many times last year, the offense wound up punting the ball back to the opponent after the defense garnered a turnover. You gotta convert those turnovers to points.

And it wasn't just those 20 guys. It was also linebackers and secondary people. This defense was the most injury plagued one in memory.

Cowboys believe Marinelli can spark defensive revival

Looking at the scores from last year, this worst defense in the league only allowed one real blowout loss - even when our valiant awesome offense only scored 16, 22, and so on in close losses. The blowout loss was to Nawlins 49-17 and in that game the Nawlins defense just smothered Dallas...

    RGIII looking "very explosive"

This is a fair assessment. Romo's a guy who tries hard and has done very well for himself. Who among us can't admire that alone?

I just have a bad, bad feeling about when Jerry for once in his life ignores his glory hound demons does the right thing - skipping Manziel - that irony bites his ass and Johnny Football tears up the league. I maintain we should have taken him, even for only the shakeup value he would bring to...

And way before that Tom tried to trade Danny to move up and get either Elway or Marino. His disenchantment with Danny started way before most people's did. And look guys - most terrible defense ever last year, and not one blowout loss. So that's hopeful for the future, if the defense can play...
