    This year. In the playoffs.

    Expectations? #2

When they appear to collapse in the playoffs or even next year you'll remember why. Because they're simply, really, not all that good. Or all that bad either.

    Playoff Schedule Announced

Almost makes you wish that if we knew we were going in there for the NFC championship, give Romo some practice at FG placement holder for in the event that special time comes. But yeah, no way.

    Playoff Schedule Announced

Ha. We know that won't happen but we can dream. What sweet redemption that would be. Symbolic.

    Playoff Schedule Announced

I really really want to see that game. Return to the scene of the slick ball crime with a berth in the Super Bowl on the line..

    Expectations? #2

They're virtually injury free. That's a break. Breaks does not a better team necessarily make. At its core, this is still the same team. It was never as bad as people thought, and never as good.

For the few lingering Romo haters out there: Romo deserves 2014 NFL MVP Award

I waxed eloquently earlier about what he's accomplished in spite of major invasive lower disk surgery. Truly remarkable. Most men his age can't even function in a normal life, after that. Much less put in a pro bowl performance as a NFL quarterback.

For the few lingering Romo haters out there: Romo deserves 2014 NFL MVP Award

But, I've said he does deserve to be a candidate and also said I would have no problem if he won it. I don't think he does, for several reasons which are mostly due to the politics of the AP writers who do this vote. I think you're guilty of selective reading. I have made many good points about...

People really get upset of you're not hanging on Romo's dick. It's fascinating.

They've had a considerably better year, statistically. That's what the stats prove.

    Expectations? #2

As bad as they appeared to be, they were only a few breaks here and there, a few plays here and there, from winning at least three more games if not four. That's the NFL. This team isn't all that much better than last year. Might be a little better. But not alot. That's the NFL too.

He'd get my vote. Had a monster year we haven't seen since the last defensive player to win MVP.

Sounds like the coaches were putrid. Only 19 carries for Murray, and 33 pass attempts for.... Weeden? That should have been flipped, you make first downs and you keep this defense off the field.

So, with Romo out they decide to feature the pass? 33 attempts for Weeden? And you blame Murray?

    Playoff Schedule Announced

Oh I hate that. I was hoping for a NFC title game at Lambeau.

Because that was his stats. 19-79. Why would they EVER have Weeden throwing 33 times? 3rd down efficiency exposed this defense though, offense was only 3/11 and Arizona rolls up 400 yards. You didn't feed Murray the ball, and you lost.

For the few lingering Romo haters out there: Romo deserves 2014 NFL MVP Award

The bolded part, nobody ever said. The rest of it is quite true and your Arizona game is a good example of it. 33 pass attempts for.... Weeden and Murray's touches waaaaay down? The liability for Tony that's been most limited? The amount of hits he's had to take.

Might have done so if they would have let him have more than 19 carries.

My vote's been for Watt. Doubt he would win though.
