    By all accounts, that's exactly what Callahan is going to do. Werder even claimed that one thing Tony has been wanting to do is run the ball more. Said that might sound counterintuitive for a QB, but Tony realizes he can't carry the offense all by himself.

    I'm not the biggest Parcells fan, but I like the way he thought about QBs. You can tell from his list (my favorite is the "battlefield commander vs. celebrity QB one) that he likes the blue-collar, regular-football-player type instead of the above-it-all prima donna type. Which I prefer, too...

    Guess Miami had Jim Otto from way back in the day. Didn't know that. But they really didn't have any great DEs, and pretty average OL for a list like this. Also didn't realize USC had the most HOFers of any program. And cmd, even though he was a psychopath killer, you gotta put OJ at RB.

    Great thread idea... Tennessee is probably hard to beat with Manning and Reggie White. But I bet a team like Michigan with Brady or Alabama with Namath plus a bunch of great linemen could make a case. Maybe even Notre Dame with Montana plus a lot of really old-timers. I think a lot depends...
