    Galloway- Cowboys made 8 changes

When you find a Gregg Poppovich, of course continuity is the way to go. I don't think anyone believes the Heat are where they are because of Spolstra, though.

I know you're gunshy on homering out, but I think with Dez it's okay.

I really thought Markus Steele was going to be a good linebacker for us

What's sad is, I've heard Woodson say later -- several times -- that during those years the vets knew immediately that none of those draft picks could play. Said they'd be like, "Where are we getting these guys?" It wasn't until Roy and Newman that they thought the opposite. How could the...

You mean about Murray? I think that was the point, you aren't supposed to hit anyone and Bass did. But the even bigger point is that some young unknown guy trying to make the team shouldn't be touching your starting running back. I do agree on all the comments about the DTs and OL. Without...

Daily Nate report... Dez beasting more every day. Spectacular. Owning Claiborne. Claiborne tries to outquick him, Dez still beats him to the spot. Tries to muscle him up the next play and Dez just runs over him. Witten had a good day. Uh oh Middy... Wilcox is playing great. So smooth and...

I really thought Markus Steele was going to be a good linebacker for us

Yeah, it was funny on that Football Life on Belichick when he was talking about working for Parcells... During a game Parcells would ask him what defense he was going to call for some particular situation and Parcells would say, "What? That's stupid!". So Belichick would suggest something else...

Hitzges goes off on teh J

Like UVA said, he might well get another chance. I'm sure that's a big reason why he's such a politician and gushes about practically every coach he's ever had or worked for. But like Zero said, I have no doubt that Jerry's presence does serve as a nice shield. Everyone in the DFW media...

Watkins: Jason Garrett should come clean

Like I said, I'm sure a lot of coaches would prefer to never say anything to the media ever. But that isn't realistic in this day and age, especially with this team. Why not keep it a secret who our MLB is going to me, or our LT, or whatever? Come on, everyone including our opponents knows...

I really thought Markus Steele was going to be a good linebacker for us

That's the kind of crap that shows you how much Belichick was the brains behind his good defenses. (Feels weird to say that and know theebs isn't going to come in and get mad about it.)

Exactly, Booze, I've always thought Jerry passing out draft picks was a huge problem too. We're gonna take my pet cat here. Rob, you say you need a corner to make your system work, ok, here you go. Ol' Buddy Houck, you've been asking for two rounds now for someone for your group, we'll take...

    Cowboys Scouting Staff

I've always been curious about how scouts are even chosen and hired in the first place. It seems that most start out as gofers and work their way up or are castoff coaches that are somehow in the GM's network of friends or associates. It doesn't seem to be like coaches where they actually...

I really thought Markus Steele was going to be a good linebacker for us

I liked Blade... And Parcells almost made him something, but he was probably too far gone. I always thought during those years that bad coaching was part of the reason all those guys failed. If a lazy guy with talent like Blade gets a coach like Parcells who stays on his ass from day one...
