PFT: Jaguars seen as most likely team to move to London

    Go fuck yourself, Goodell. Really.

Archer: Cowboys' circus a tired act

Oh good God. I don't hate everything about the team. I wouldn't be here if I did. I think we have a ton of good players. The whole reason Garrett (and Jerry) frustrates me is because I think we have the talent to do some things and we don't play to our potential or even close to it. Why is...

Archer: Cowboys' circus a tired act

He does handle the press well and they obviously like him (one guy even had the sympathetic, "I can't imagine how hard it is for you to read that your job could be in jeopardy, how do you possibly handle that?"). And that helps the local people write and say good things about him. The whole...

Archer: Cowboys' circus a tired act

No kidding. Why does it matter if the press likes him? There's no doubt they do and are rooting for him, but I don't see why that makes a difference on the field.

    Donte Rosario signs with Dallas.

Yep, and it only works for them for one reason: Gronk is an absolute boss.

    Callahan the playcaller, per Jerry

I think it's more that he would've liked to have fired everyone, but instead he stopped himself and did this half-ass job where he got the new defense and defensive coaches plus changed the playcaller. So big changes just short of firing the lot of them. That way he didn't have to pay so much...

    Callahan the playcaller, per Jerry

Better track record than Garrett, though, and with Rich Gannon at QB.

    Callahan the playcaller, per Jerry

I don't know why he says it makes "them" look more ridiculous... It's Garrett who has refused to admit or talk about it. Also... I wonder what the very real DCU Hostile has to say about this.

    2013 Minicamps/OTA's Thread

What about the heat issue having camp at home? I personally think that's a bunch of crap, but a lot of people don't. I bet 90% of season ticket holder don't care about watching camp anyway. And Jerry probably figures he's getting their money during the year.

I think it was Nate Newton -- I think -- who said every practice he watched OTAs, Wilcox made a play of some kind. Said he never saw Johnson do much. But he thought Wilcox looked like he might have something.

    Donte Rosario signs with Dallas.

:confused Stretch Smith loves Garrett. And I don't say Escobar is no good. I've never seen him play. I don't doubt he's a good receiver... What's wrong with saying he's not a good blocker. I'm more excited about seeing Williams and even Frederick... But oh well.

Forget the magical two-TE offense... What has me mindfucked is a DCU thread having more than one post per five minutes. Is this a record?

    Donte Rosario signs with Dallas.

Well I agree on that, Booze. He could never get Bennett involved, which I don't understand after he got rid of Fasano to get the guy he really wanted. That Stretch Smith guy was saying one day that he heard not only would Romo be given more say but that our offense would be trimmed back. He...

    Donte Rosario signs with Dallas.

That's the whole thing... How and when is Escobar going to make this huge difference? I don't see it. I think best case he converts some third downs and catches some redzone TDs. There's still only one ball and it's still Dez, Witten, Miles, and Demarco ahead of him in line. I would think...

Oakland Raiders fire PR guy because of negative SI article

True, I have no idea why the PR guy would be responsible for what SI writes anyway. But that's non-football stuff so who cares.

Oakland Raiders fire PR guy because of negative SI article

LOL Sounds familiar. Reading some more (really good article), they sound like they're probably in pretty good hands. You could do a lot worse than going to Ron Wolf and John Madden for advice. And the young Davis says this: If only our owner thought that.
