    *** 2014 NFL Draft thread ***

Scottsdale is incredibly nice. It's like Orange County (the elite part) back in Cali. Lots of money in Scottsdale.

Callahan to keep playcalling responsibilities in 2014

No but Boykin damn sure knew how to defend Austin on that final crucial play didn't he?

Outside of the stadium and the mall right next to it, it's kind of a farm community. Still, I never have any issues driving to games there.

    *** 2014 NFL Draft thread ***

is this a joke? I haven't really noticed that element here (not that I would have an issue with it). Coming from Los Angeles to the ultra-conservative Arizona area, I don't really see that as much now.

Yes, accept for those that are actually 12.

It's considered the East Valley (Tempe, Chandler, Gilbert, Mesa). It's just southeast of Phoenix. I work in Tempe.

    Dallas QB Tony Romo

I know this is a forum for assholes but why post this? It ensures no one ever takes your opinions/takes seriously. You can make your point without sounding like a 12-year old.

Callahan to keep playcalling responsibilities in 2014

I honestly feel that's because Garrett's play designs are way too basic and defenses can guess or know our plays too often. Our greatest plays under the Garrett regime are always Romo improvising, waiting for Witten, Laurent Robinson, Terrence Williams, etc to run away from the coverage.

Lane Kiffin just stole Jason Garrett's fallback job

    His choice of course.

Lane Kiffin just stole Jason Garrett's fallback job

Alabama names Lane Kiffin OC today. Personally, I think his playcalling is as bad as Garrett's (bubble screen again!) but he's great with WR's and an excellent recruiter. I just hope Saban still has a spot available for Garrett in 2015. Maybe Graduate Assistant?

Cowboys make switch in war room

Do not agree. His talent has always been there. What needed to change was his maturity and his work ethic.

according to the leaked pictures yes.

Cowboys make switch in war room

It's been better but it's still not great. This past draft, we had players like Knile Davis, Larry Warford, TJ McDonald, Keenan Allen, and Robert Woods completely off of our board and they all were very successful rookies. I get maybe misjuding these guys by a round of two but you're going to...

The Dallas Cowboys signed four free agents

Alec, I'll take four scrubs that do not belong on a NFL roster for $1000.

Cowboys make switch in war room

Yeah, I don't see the drafting fine part. We change philosophies every few years (take injured guys in the 2nd round that can sit a year to now taking injured players completely off the board), Jerry is fascinated with finding the next great small school guy, and then last year completely...

    Sooooo has anything happened?

I can no longer buy the "Jerry just wants to win" narrative anymore. He is clearly only in this for money at this point.

Cowboys make switch in war room

It's all semantics since they are all yes men for Jerry but what does this say about Ciskowski that Arena League guy is leapfrogging him? This explains our recent obsession with Jacksonville rejects. McClay is vouching for these scrubs. There's a reason Jacksonville is the worst franchise in...
