I'm leaning that way too but I also like Stanford's Ed Reynolds. All 3 are giant upgrades over our current Safety collaboration.

Jeff Heath is a really nice guy so that makes up for his complete inability to play Safety at a NFL level.

    Wes Phillips interviewing with Redskins

Hostile assured us he would be amazing. Lucky Redskins.

Were the early 1990's Super Bowls worth it?

No, no you're right. Most successful business owners keep failing the same way over and over again. All of those other owners fired and hired GM's for not getting the job done. Jerry will not win another Super Bowl if he continues to run the team the way he has.

Is Henry Melton in the Cowboys' future?

    Would not hate it.

He's as delusional as our owner.

Top 25 'must-sign' NFL free agents

I don't know that we will but we can. Almost all of our big money contracts were set up to restructure this year. Brandon Carr's first year cap # was $3.2M. So, we would need to free up enough cap room to get to zero, plus draft picks, and then another 8 or 9 M. Jerry's mentality with the...

Top 25 'must-sign' NFL free agents

Still think Byrd would have the biggest impact on this Defense. Hardy or Michael Johnson would be nice as well. I'm still mad we drafted Jason Williams over Michael Johnson.

Were the early 1990's Super Bowls worth it?

It's dumb that this even has to be a choice (and I realize it basically is). Any other owner would have seen the futility and changed course but not this dummie. The better question is was the 1995 Superbowl team worth it (Switzer)? That gave the hillbilly moron the false idea that he was...

    Mel Kiper Mock 1.0

I think the DT depth is perfect for our second round pick. Nix, Hageman, and maybe Jernigan will be gone but Will Sutton, Ego Ferguson, Aaron Donald, Kelcy Quarles, Dominique Easley, and if his attitude checks out, Anthony Johnson could be there. A lot of people like the Penn State DT as well.

Walter Football updated mock post #29

It figures we would draft a true NT now that we no longer run the 3-4. Still, if he is BPA and all of our other targets are gone, I'd be okay with him. He'll suck up blocking and help our short-yardage Defense.

    Mel Kiper Mock 1.0

I'd rather get our DE in the 1st and hope that one of the Safeties (Dix, Pryor, or Ed Reynolds) or a DT slips to us in the 2nd. The DE depth drops off quickly.

Who the Cowboys pick in 2008 re-draft

on another site (two actually) and also for dbair, every draft pick we make is a special superstar with the ability to change the game. don't get me started on the UDFA's we sign.

Jerry Jones' poor leadership has Cowboys outside title game once again

This is where I wish Hostile was still a regular at the Zone and not in seclusion. I'd love to see him defend/explain this article. My guess is he would do his typical "media is out to get us" routine.
