2026 Week One: Dallas Cowboys vs. New York Giants

Yeah… this one is ugly. 😬 The biggest problems right now:

  • The offense can’t sustain drives. Dallas has only 185 yards, and Dak is just 16-of-25 for 116 yards with an interception.
  • The Giants are winning the line of scrimmage. New York has 357 yards and is averaging 6.4 yards per play.
  • Jaxson Dart is carving them up. He’s 21-of-26 for 213 yards and 3 TDs with no interceptions.
  • Dallas’ defense is getting worn down. The Giants have held the ball for over 31 minutes and have run 56 plays to Dallas’ 43.
  • Penalties aren't helping: Dallas already has 7 for 60 yards.
The brutal part is that Dallas isn't just losing because of one or two mistakes—they're getting outplayed in basically every phase. The Giants have controlled possession, moved the ball much more efficiently, and Dart has been much better than Dak tonight.

Four passes to Singletary on that drive, same distance. Same area of the field, and they couldn't do squat about it? Really?!

Aubrey is another fucking one. Everyone talks about his leg, but several kickers now have huge legs. And I have seen close kicks that have come dangerously close to being misses.

I like Schotty. He is a good man. But I am getting close to wanting him gone already. I am already tired of the "we are family" approach. I need a HC who cracks heads and doesn't give a shit about your feelings.

A coach who cries or finds it emotional to cut players is not my cup of tea.

Can't wait to hear Bryan Broaddus' bullshit on this one on 105.3 the Fan post game. It's online for those interested.

Anyone else notice that since Broaddus was hired the expectations for this team are always out of whack? His analysis sucks ass and he is cashing in anyway.

What a pathetic, horrendous defensive performance.

Cant believe how inept these fucking morons are, again.

Cant stop the run. Cant stop the pass. Gave up 9 Third down conversions on 10 attempts. Forced ONE motherfucking punt the whole game.

More dropped passes. Penalties galore, including one incredibly stupid taunting call that cost us a PAT.

Just a complete failure in every fucking way.

He isnt the only one.

They had a lot of us fooled this time though. Certainly seemed like they were doing a lot of the right things for once, and all that optimism just got flushed down the commode with a truly despicable performance to open the season.

This looks like a 4 or 5 win team, at best.

Giants Stadium is not a gimmee place dude.

The winds there have been rough on kickers for decades, even with the new version.

To bang on the kicker for missing a 50yd PAT with all the other shit you just witnessed seems to show you have your priorities mixed up.

It's a good thing we drafted the best player on the board...Yippee!! The rest of the teams that passed on Downs were laughing.

Downs will be a good player, but we needed to continue to build the front 7, then worry about the back end in free agency or next year.

I don't see us beating the top teams in the NFC unless injuries happen. The Bears will demolish the Cowboys.

Not one improvement, everything on both sides of the ball was a complete cluster fuck. DAK misses Lamb by 15 feet on a long bomb. WTF, didn't Jerry pay him 60 million not to do that?
