If Trump gets to appoint another justice this term, let it not be a conservative woman, unless it is a die hard like Jeanine Pirro. Barrett is turning out to be a Sandra Day O'Connor, who also started out as a conservative them began a shift to the left until she retired.
The article indicates the liberals justices, especially Sotomayor began courting Barrett, probably recognizing she was weak in her convictions. I expect Barrett will go full liberal before long. That leaves only Roberts to hold the line and that is not a good place for conservatives to be. Roberts is also weak and at times irrational.
What we need is for Sotomayor to resign so Trump can appoint a very reliable conservative like Alito as a replacement. That would neuter Barrett.

I can't find any sources reporting Thomas was stripped of any medals. However, He did lose his legal battle to swim against female athletes in the Olympics. What leads me to believe this is a fake report is the claim that Riley Gaines was given the gold. I think she finished in 5th place in that races, not second. I could be wrong about that.
Thomas lost a legal arbitration case against the World Aquatics governing body which implemented a policy banning males who went through male puberty from participating in women's aquatic events. This is a rational policy because once through male puberty, the superior size and strength of a man becomes obvious and a major advantage competing in women's sports. At the same time the Aquatics governing body established an "open" category of competition in which transgender females, or males, can compete.
But the report that Thomas was stripped of medal is false.

Their ambassador actually had the nerve in his "emergency presser" today to ask, "why are you attacking us? Why are you attacking civilization?" And using the Clinton defense strategy of "there's never been any proof of Iran's funding of terrorist groups. All of our efforts have been directed towards peace." And always referring it Iran's nuclear program as "peaceful."
In Arabic the word "peace" means, "The absence of sll enemies."
