Hopefully Denver has an emotional letdown after winning in such dramatic fashion Sunday.

That's about how they've won all season. Get behind, then turn it on both sides of the ball 4th quarter. But... They haven't been down by a fortyburger and they haven't seen an offense like we have for 'em.

The Broncos are kind of one of our bogey teams along with the Ravens and the Packers, certainly for the past 30 years.

Haven't beaten them since our SB-winning season of 1995. Haven't won in Denver since the SB-winning season of 1992 (and that was by the skin of our teeth despite Elway being out injured). And of course we did beat them twice in our 1977 SB-winning season.

Maybe that's a sign. Beat Denver this Sunday and we're guaranteed to win the Superb Owl!!!

I would like to see a physical team on offense with successful runs creating play action opportunities. Individual matchups like Surtain v. Lamb should be a story within itself.

I just hope that Payton is unable to recreate that front 7 mauling on both sides of the ball that we took from Carolina but I fear this may happen again.

Another one of those games where it's decided in the trenches.
I'm not sure we're up to this challenge but will hopefully be proven wrong.
