What Jones said was idiotic and stupid, but it is also an opinion which is constitutionally protected speech no matter how offensive the rest of us feel it might be. And it also does not matter that what he said is not true. The idiots who harassed the parents are to blame, not Jones. If we go down the path that what one person says makes them responsible for another person's actions then there will be a lot of lawsuits in the future.

The constitution does have exclusions for things we do not like to hear. Free speech is exactly what it means. You can think what you like and you can express your thoughts freely.

For years many people have been saying the 9/11 terrorist attack was an inside job, planned by Bush and Cheney despite having 0 evidence. No one was sued over that theory. People claimed the Pentagon was hit by a missile, not a plane, despite mountains of evidence of plane wreckage inside the damaged Pentagon. People died on that plan, just like the kids who died at Sandy Hook. No one has been sued over that conspiracy theory either. In fact, there is a 2nd versions of the movie Loose Change circulating now that continues to claim the same nonsense as the first only with some of the obvious nonsense removed.

I think the judge in this case simply did not like Alex Jones and felt compassion for the families, Their kids died so someone has to pay. The same goes for the jury. But being a jerk is not against the law and does not removed anyone's civil rights.

I think Democrats know it is coming to. It is not just about taking the guns away from civilians, they are also removing patriots from the military and creating a "woke" military that will fight with them.

Democrats are becoming bolder. The double standard of justice in America is getting more pronounced. The cheating in the election was bold. But using fake accusations and obscure laws to disqualify a popular presidential candidate crosses the line. They have move into selection of possible leaders territory which defies everything American is about. I do not want a civil war where many thousands will die, but if they rig elections, arrest popular opposition candidates, while trying to disarm us, what are the options for us?

The military's oath is to protect us from all enemies, foreign AND domestic. Saying "we were not involved" is not the same as saying we we not aware. It is inconceivable that the FBI would raid the home of an ex-president and the White House would not be notified.

Also, if the warrant is for "classified" documents that Trump took out of the White House there is some clarification needed. First, every president removes classified documents from the White House. Trump has a SCIF at Mar-A-Lago specifically for him to review classified documents while he is staying there. If he maintains the documents in the SCIF he is not violating any rules or laws. Second, they continue to make it sound like Trump took top secret military and other document with him. But his lawyers say the issue they had with the national archives were personal notes and things Trump received from foreign dignitaries. and gifts. Trump returned 15 boxes of these materials months ago.

So the FBI was there because they believed Trump still had more documentation in his home. Think about that. Why would they believe there was more? Did they receive a tip? And if they did, why didn't they just ask his lawyers to turn over whatever they suspect he kept?

This case is not the same as Hillary Clinton's emails. For one thing, Clinton did not cooperate with the FBI. The FBI did not raid her home. In fact, they allowed Clinton and her attorneys to delete what she considered personal emails from her server before they took possession of the server. Hillary went further than that though. She deleted thousands of emails that were government business related. She also had her staff destroy cell phones or SIM cards keeping potentially thousands of messages from investigators. Hillary committed obstruction of justice. There is no evidence of Trump destroying anything at this point.

It is also important to remember how the Clinton team was treated. Clinton's personal attorneys kept their laptops and were allowed to delete emails they claimed were personal before turning the laptops over to the FBI.

Clinton pretended to cooperate with the FBI all the while obstructing them and deleting evidence against her.

Hillary is an accomplished liar. She did not turn over all her work related emails. She deleted 33,000 emails from her server and the FBI had to recover them which is a painstaking process. Of the emails they recovered thousands were not personal, they were work related and some were classified. Destruction of the classified emails is a crime whether she intended to destroy them or not. Many of the deleted emails we will never know what they were since her lawyers used a secure delete tool to ensure the data on the hard drives could not be recovered. And also remember, the emails were deleted after she received a letter from a congressional committee to preserve all her emails for an investigation. That is obstruction of justice.

Regardless, the simple fact is the way the FBI handled her cases was nothing like what they are doing to Trump for taking some documents with him to MAL.
