Exactly. WR isn't even close to a need for us. Miles and Dez are as good a pair as you'd ever need, and some vet will shake loose at some point if we think we need a better third guy. We should be looking for centers and safeties and even TEs before another WR.

Wallace is a badass, though. Glad the Skins don't have any picks to trade away... Or do they. He'd be perfect as good as RG3 is on the deep ball.

i dont see how this can be a negative. If this is done its a given that Dez or Austin will not be around for the long haul. Dez Austin and Wallace on the field together would be amazing. Add in Witten, not to mention Murray. Murray could end up getting 2000 yrds with a extra CB on the field at all times and the S' focusing on deep help.

By the way its being said He can be had for a 4th round pick.

Considering austin and Dez have been a walking injury case lately. Id love to have Wallace starting. But you can bet if Wallace came to Dallas they would start all 3.

but none of those exist and if the motto of always churning the roster to get better is more than a saying then I imagine if what it took to get him was low I dont think it would be wrong.

if all it took was a 4 there would be tons of teams lining up which in turn would make the price go up...

and most importantly someone has to sign him.....we dont have much cap space, although jenkins could come off the books....

Its very fascinating. I dont think you can compare him to williams. I understand the context but they are like apples to oranges. No injuries to Wallace resume and no restrictions in his game. He catches everything and anything.

And i dont think the asking price of the steelers is what is keeping teams out but rather Wallace asking price for a contract. Something Jerry isnt scared of. Shit Jerry can kick that signing bonus upfront. Since that money is spread over the length of the contract on the cap and have his base at the vet min. He gets his guaranteed money either way.

austin and bryant have both been hurt, they both had drops and bryant made mental mistakes.........having wallace there would add competition that coale/harris/beasley/holmes/ogletree would not....

also, I think olgletree would be the one cut if something like this were to happen.

Thats what i want competition. This team has everything handed to them. You compete for everything it translates to the field during games. IMO i think Austin has reached his peak. But i think Dez and Wallace havent hit it yet. I could see Austin being the slot. And he'd destroy nickle corners.
