Go ask drug dealers how many free or severely discounted "samples" they give out, especially to young people.

Yes, I get this argument, but this is like blaming a store for your household debt because they kept putting stuff on sale and you couldn't resist buying it.

We have done a lousy job of teaching kids to stop using drugs. Instead we have told them marijuana is harmless, and cocaine is awesome. If we feel justified in killing narcotics traffickers then why is it so bad to jail narcotics users?

Schools were anti-drug when most of us were growing up, we also had law enforcement come in and do their little presentation every yr.

I doubt that's done anywhere any longer, in fact its probably the opposite.
