This judge is 100% wrong in her legal reasoning. The Supreme Court already ruled that the president has the authority to halt immigration, or impose travel bans to anyone at any time for any reason or no reason, except if the decision is based on race or religion. He can halt immigration from every country if he choose, which has already been done in this country multiple times."A Federal Judge..." She is also ruling on a national issue from her seat on a district court which the SC ruled she cannot do.
No doubt this judge is a Trump hating liberal and was picked specifically by Democrats to hear this case and rule as she did. The Supreme Court will overturn this.

Locally we have no less than four area ranches that process their own beef and sell it via their own storefront. They even sell vegetables they grow, and eggs from chickens they raise.

are you saying Trumps statement is BS?
I'm clueless about this whole beef situation, do you know what the deal is and whether Trump allowing foreign beef into the country is pro for con?
Of course my girlfriend who doesn't even eat beef is hearing nonstop Trump hate on this issue but I haven't had time to research whats actually happen but my gut tells me its exaggerated or complete BS

There's no federal restrictions on ranchers processing their own products. Or selling them. It may vary by state however. If so there's nothing the federal government can do about it.
Importing beef for the purpose of letting US ranchers get their herd numbers back up is a double edged sword - we already have a recall on some S. American imported beef, and country of origin labelling is spotty at best. What he's doing isn't going to get the price down. If it helps grow our herd then that's good, that will lower prices, but you're looking at a couple of years to see any real impact.
