I replied to that. We don't all get to play the Dolphins.

2014 NFL Player Defense Stats - National Football League - ESPN

Compare to previous years where we didn't have the defensive holding rule "enforcement" we have now. Stick with just weeks 1-6 in the comparisons, for now. As the season progresses we'll have more data.

The ball is getting out faster as defenders adjust to the unreasonable enforcement of the holding rule. Therefore less sacks.

The rules on hitting the QB are affecting it too.

LOL you link to individual player stats as your comeback?? This can't be real life...

Ok I'll play. Kerrigan leads the league with 6 sacks thru 5 games. 1.2 sacks per game average. Kerrigan is on pace for 19.2 sacks this season. LOL just stop.

Compare to previous years at this time, then see the trend, then get back to me.

You seem to believe I am saying there are no sacks in the league and Dallas doesn't need DL help. I am not saying either.

Dallas DOES need DL help, that isn't debatable. I often wonder why they don't trot Michael Sam out there, see what he can do in this regard.

Trading this season for a big name D-Lineman isn't likely to happen, and it's debatable if it would be worth it at this point for what you would have to give up in such trade.
