This was a heckuva football game and 22 made it one of the more special wins in franchise history.

The division title and HFA was on the line for this game, as big a regular season ender as we have possibly ever had.

I think I've heard and read it's also the only game of Madden's announcing career where he went down INTO the locker room after a game to seek out and congratulate a player.

That was in Herschel's 2nd stopover with us, and he had lost some of his long speed by that point.

But Vinatieri was a pretty good athlete for a kicker as well.

Remember he had a massive 1st game with the Vikings, everybody thought he'd carry them to the Super Bowl easily, I dont think he had another 100 yd game the whole season after that first one.
