I'm kind of numb on this whole thing right now. In part because, like others said it's more than likely to get resolved, and in part because, as a Twins fan, Jerry's not even the worst owner I've dealt with in the last 24 hours...

He's not going to sign. He'll hold out all camp and preseason and will tell Tweedle Dee and Tweedle Dum he will only play under his current 5th yr contract if they guarantee they won't franchise him next yr.

Jones is such a fucking moron (both of them) that they will agree to it thinking he'll help them "win big" this yr. Instead he'll half ass his way through the season to avoid injury and then walk away for free after the season is over, and we'll get nothing for him. He'll probably end up with Dan Quinn.

Parsons' value would have to be higher. He's younger (and more dynamic) than Mack was when he was traded.

Not sure if this statement is legit or not. But if it is true then he can get the fuck out of here and we can stage the next great train robbery part 2!

But in the end, he will sign last minute because it’s all BS and all for show. He will sign on game day like Dak!

If Parsons wants to play hard ball then fuck it. Let him. He can sit out this entire season. Then we tag him. And let his ass sit out ALL next season too. Someone said is he sits out he loses 23m this season?
