He wasnt moved becasue he couldnt do it doofus.

They moved him because they thought he was an all world pass rusher, and in a passing dominated league having a high end pass rusher trumps being an off the ball LB, especially in the current day NFL.

And they moved him because we had a slew of injuries at DE after week one. He still moved back and forth between the two positions for the rest of that yr.

Correct Grasshopper. He was recruited as a middle linebacker and went on to lead the team in tackles as a freshman, also earning Big Ten Linebacker of the Year honors in his second season.

Yeah I heard him talk about it. I think he has a poor memory.

What was reported (by numerous media outlets and NFL Insiders) is they offered Parsons to the Jets for draft picks, and the Jets turned it down because they said they didn't have the "resources" to do the deal. ("resources" being all the picks and the cash needed).

If Jones really offered Parsons AND a 1st for QW and they turned it down, only to trade QW to us later for what is going to probably amount to a late 2nd in 2026 and a late 1st in 2027, then they really are the biggest moron front office in history.
