Biden proposed a $1.9 trillion stimulus bill even with those $1400 checks. But let's do some math. Biden wants to give $1400 checks to those making under a certain dollar amount. That was $78,000 for the first check. 88% of adults 18 and over make less than $78k so that means about 222 million people are eligible for $1400. 222 million x $1400 = ~$311 billion. So Americans are getting a little of $300 billion and someone else is getting a little under $1.6 trillion.

Maybe a lot of that will go to small businesses. Some will certainly go to industries that were forced to shut down. But many people were forced to shut down, stop working, or whatever.

Why not just pass a clean bill so the American people know exactly what they are getting without having to sift through the pork? Pass a bill to send stimulus checks. Then pass a bill to help small businesses. Then pass a bill to help whoever the government thinks needs help. They lump all this stuff together so they each get some pork to brag about to the lobbyists who finance their campaigns.

And for the record, if Biden agreed to pay the $2000 he promised it would cost another $130 billion or so. Out of $1.9 trillion it does not seem like that much to keep his promise. This dishonesty about $600 + $1400 is car dealership stuff. Biden never said $1400 and neither did any of the other Democrats.

I am happy to hear when anyone stands up for free speech, but the problem is our courts have become as politicized as Facebook. Remember when Trump was told by a federal court he cannot block the obnoxious trolls that follow his account on Twitter? The judge in that case argued that his account, his personal account, is a public forum and therefore he cannot stop anyone from participating in the discussion even if they were basically trolling. In a bit of what goes around comes around, Dems were sued for blocking and also told they could not block users because the Trump ruling set a precedent. But then Twitter basically blocked everyone from seeing Trump's tweet by suspending his account. They even suspended his White House account. So how can Trump's account be a public forum but then Twitter can remove that forum? You see, the judges are just ruling against conservatives every chance they get.

Parler sued Amazon for taking down their app from AWS for allegedly failing to censor Parler users. Parler sued asking a judge to make Amazon put Parler back up because the harm to Parler was irrevocable. Of course it was. Amazon's actions damaged Parler's reputation and they had problems finding another web hosting service to put their app on. The judge in a strange ruling argued there was no need to Amazon to put Parler back up as there was no immediate damage! In the meantime Parler is off line now for almost a month! Of course the judge should have granted a temporary injunction, even if it was for 30 days it would have given Parler an opportunity to find a new home. But the judge agreed with Amazon that Parler was not censoring its users enough! What!!!! A federal judge arguing a social media company that advertises free speech is claiming the company should censor more, rahter than standing up for the 1st amendment!?! It is absurd, a perversion of the legal system. It should get that judge impeached and removed.

But this is why the biggest problem America faces is its legal system. Judges are now as corrupt as congress, and it is by design.

This is people in the media trying to make a case for conviction in the Senate. But this is a laughable argument. First, no matter what their "experts" say, the law is the law. Free speech protects most speech. You can shout "Fire!" in a crowded theater if the theater is on fire. No court would convict a person for shouting "fire" if the person saw smoke.

When Trump says the election was stolen, it does not have to be true. If a reasonable person could conclude that the election was in some way fraudulent, then that person can yell, "fraud" all day without consequences. The evidence that fraud is possible is a mountain, not an ant-hill. Just because one person will not believe it, or the media denies it does not mean Trump cannot reasonably believe it.

Now I will state another argument. This article ignores the same chatter on Twitter. It only analyzed Parler traffic. But of course. I recall being on Twitter when Beto O'Rourke campaigned on gun control, and when Biden promised to make him his gun control czar. The talk of civil was went through the roof on Twitter, as it did after acts of violence perpetrated against MAGA hat wearing kids. The point is, we are all adults and we are responsible for our own behavior. A Bernie Sanders supporter took a rifle and shot 5 people on a baseball field almost killing Rep Steve Scalise. This was after Sanders had said Republicans didn't care of people died because they had no health insurance. The shooter even cited his remarks as he was taking aim at Republicans. If Trump is guilty of incitement, the so is Bernie, an a bunch of others.

BLM riots killed 47 people. We heard Pelosi, Harris, and other Democrats supporting the rioters and even telling them to keep the pressure on. Incitement? No one thought so then.

An impeachment trial is political and Senators can decide whatever they want. But this is a dangerous slippery slope. The question every American should be asking is, if Biden and the Democrats are so great, why are they afraid of Trump running again in 4 years?

So not only are they hiding Biden away from the press and not allowing him to take questions the WH is now requesting the questions that reporters plan to ask be provided to the WH communications department before each press conference and that the WH Press Secretary has the questions ahead of time.

I also think it's comical that people really believe $600 or $1400 or even $2000 does that much. if you lost your job (or your company completely went under) then these two or three "one time" payments don't do shit.
