Actually, Lee Harvey Oswald left the US to go to the Soviet Union, where he met and married his wife. At the time Oswald thought communism in Russia was better than capitalism and freedom in America. But, Oswald is the only kid of character who would flee the US for the oppression of a socialist state.

Australia had a buyback programs but it is estimated on 20% of the nation's guns were turned in. Then came the black market for guns. There is no way of knowing but I think most of the people who were armed before the buyback are still armed.

Liberals are melting down over this opinion but they are completely wrong. The main thing is this case was not about the protection of asylum seekers. It was about separation of powers. The question before the court was does the president have the power to rescind a previous president's order on temporary protection status. The SC said that the district courts have no jurisdiction in a issue like this. It is the constitutional authority of the executive branch to determine how and when to rescind temporary status given by the executive branch of government. This is how the court is supposed to work. The underlying issue is irrelevant. Only the constitution and the law matter.
