Wow, this young woman hits the nail on the head. But it is even worse, the are using our money to buy their votes. It's like your Aunt giving you the keys to a new car for Christmas, then handing you the monthly payment books so you have to pay for it. That's not a gift, it is a burden.
But she is also right about the number of people on food stamps. $40 million? In a country of about 260 million adults? What's worse is 78 million on on Medicaid, a program to provide healthcare to the poor. Do we really have 78 million people that qualify for Medicaid? When you add to that the cost of Obamacare subsidies you can understand why we are $38 trillion in debt with no end to the debt growth in sight.
No matter what Bernie Sanders and that imbecile AOC say, this is not sustainable. Something has to change.

YES! This is what has been lost in our immigration system. People who came here as immigrants were supposed to be able to contribute. They had to have skills we wanted or needed, but also many came at a time when we just needed laborers. Most immigrants and all illegal immigrants come her now with no skills. They wind up taking all the jobs that many poor unskilled Americans used to take. The reason we have 40 million people on food stamps and 78 million on Medicaid is because illegals are either getting these benefits or forcing Americans on these benefits.

Not sure I agree with this. My family immigrated and my parents were poor farm workers. They were sponsored by other family members who were US citizens but they didn't leach the system. They worked low wage jobs until they saved enough money to start their own mom and pop businesses. They became US citizens and assimilated. We can attract skilled immigrants for sure.....but we also need low skilled workers who can contribute as well.
I think we're missing the boat in some aspects. American workers will not work farm jobs....they just won't. Hell, how many parents sent their kids to work for the summer? That was the norm when I was growing up and the norm when my parents were in business. Not any more.
